Re: Prices on Bafang 8Fun all over map!

Henry111 wrote:I see the Bafang 8fun (750 watt) kit on USA dealer and distributor website priced anywhere from $500 to $800. While on alibaba I see them out of China (where they all come from anyhow) for low as $200. What's up with that?

Re: Anyone tried the FSA Metropolis Patterson Crank

I have one on my bike and love it. It allows you to pedal when going slow as well as when you are going fast. Very high quality. I also have a couple bikes that I put a Schlumph drive on and I like that as well. Although it costs more. You do have to mount a shifter cable with the FSA and do not wit...

Re: Hi-power cycles Anyone have experience with them

Re: Thinking about building a Fat-Tire E-bike.... need some

You will need spacers for the 170 mm width. Easy to do. Lyen controller is what I prefer. Sensorless. Fat bikes are a little tricky.
I would put a Cro motor on it. They already close to that wide. How are you thinking of mounting battery?

Here is my Phasor Build. I do have to say that I have a Greyborg and a Raptor, plus about 4 other electric bikes along with a 2WD Yuba Mundo. This Phasor is a thing of beauty. I cannot say enough good about it. David designed a piece of E-Bike art! I did have to use a hydraulic cylinder to spread th...

The 24 Hours of Cumming Gravel Race and Festival will take place on the gravel roads of central Iowa. Launching from Cumming, Iowa, this will be one of the toughest enduran...

Re: 4500+ Miles US Ebike Tour - August 2014

If you get near Des Moines, I have plenty of parts to help you fix your hot connectors. I use crimp style Ring Terminals and use little bolt and nut with tape for my connections, that may work depending on whether or not you need to disconnect them a lot. I wired a charging port so I never have to d...
