Re: Streetfighter/Sportbike build

Cool that you are getting this street legal. That should be a very strong frame. I liked the look of the bike. Like a fighter style. Cool cool. Why did you go for the hub motor over a mid drive? hey Bro looks resistant your frame wish I could just go and cut&weld on the frame here in GER the fra...

Re: Yamaha YZF250F

I think this is a keeper too  I plan to use a sevcon size 6, if I can set it up good:? Somewhere in the 40kw region would be nice, not that I will be able to use it.. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone with a 138 70h with the gear reduction. I want a little more power than what I have o...

Re: Yamaha YZF250F

This must turn out to be a keeper. Finally someone got their hands on the new 180 from QS. Must about two years since QS first posted about this motor on their site. I will tag along for rest of the build and look forward to see it completed. Have you decided what controller to use? What kind of pea...

What happened with these motors? Id like to get an upgraded motor at somepoint :D Tbh. I did look back into this thread today to see if there was any updates since early winter. Not much to see here....I guess the peak power to weight ratio is what got me excited at first and the fact that it bolts...

Re: Streetfighter/Sportbike build

Hope you get the plates so it will be legal. Cutting and welding frame is a no go in Norway. Only way to ever get a modified frame street legal is to have Tüv approval from Germany. Costly, and time consuming.

Yeah just find your pop corn gentlemen and let ut see how this one plays out. I watched a Nikola video this summer, june or july I think. It was the Nikola founder showing off the truck, talking a lot about haters and trying to convince the whole world things where great. He didn't come off as an ho...

Re: ”The barge” efoil build

Speaking of poor electric karma.. the good thing is the barge worked beautifully last session. The bad thing is that i hit a rock under water at full speed. It was large enough for me to hit it also in the crash - An incredible luck was that i didn’t go unconscious and drown as i was riding alone. S...

Tubeless is the king of roadside repair. Say for instance a nail has punctured your tire. Remove the nail from the tire, insert the "brush" do 6-8 strokes in and out with the brush and put in one of those tubeless repair "tiny plugs" into the whole using the plug tool. You do thi...

Controller busted on last session.. It's nice to have the big board, paddling back was OK. Controller had three years use which is sort of 60-70 years old in controller years. Maybe it got corona as well, i think i heard it coughing before it died. Getting a new one tomorrow :D Hahaha that pot real...

Re: QSMOTOR,0.5-12kW Electric Hub Motor & Mid Drive Motor Manufacture China

Hello, my 205 50H V3 looks like it moves around on the sprocket side. When I speed up the motor with no load, it vibrates like its out of balance. Ive removed the covers to check that the bearings are seated and to see if I could fix it by reinstalling the covers bit its never fixed. Its possible t...

To bad the wires comes out in the back, right at the feet on a motorcycle. To the side would be so much better, it can be at the edge next to the backplate. I agree, maybe not a cable routing that will ensure longevity and reliability? Would be a very sad day if bikes hit the ground while boondocki...

Why not using the youtube video? Wow that bikes seems to be something else. Really like the high power motor and controller. Suspension seems to work well. Maybe adding a clutch and it would be close to a perfect a all round bike? single tracks, dirt roads, occasional...

Very nice. That 180 must be an amazing motor. I've think I got a candidate for a possible controller fo rthe 180. But its summer, and the email response time are a bit slow. I think in a week or two I will know if that controller will work. If the engineers need any more motor data to see if they be...

My question is does it retain all of my existing settings, so I don't have to worry about wheel off the ground as well as writing down all my settings to duplicate? When I did it last time, it wiped the settings. You can export the current settings to the memory card first. Then import them after y...
