Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

I bought 2 of these, haven't actually checked if they fit yet (I am sure I can make a plan with a wood block if needs be). Will check tonight. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Universal-Motorcycle-Clamp-On-Side-Kick-Stand/382297802357?hash=item5902b98675:g:biIAAOSwyXNaHufh That was a better price. Shipp...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Anyone here that have a kickstand on your Beta? Or any advice what could fit? I only found this in the Stealth topic, and the price is too high, and with shipping extreme high (more than then the kickstand itself). https://m.ebay.com/itm/Ricochet-Off-Road-Chrome-Moly-Steel-Clamp-On-Kick-Stand-Honda-...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

It is not like the bike will be legal with it, but still feels better to have that mode. Are you sure? I mean who could proove that its able to give more output then 250Watt? No one. So its legal, right? I used to have this firmware.. Im gonna check my mail for that wait a sec. Oh yeah, I...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I want to start using a password to leave eco-mode. Anyone have the latest firmware for this? I have the Mini version. I think I have read somewhere that you should mail Adappto for this, but maybe someone here has it? (maybe Adappto are slow to answer). Edit: I even get error message when trying to...

Re: Common pack design mistakes, how to avoid?

Can I make a Y-split with my 10 awg cable like in my picture? It is not exactly 50/50 divided, just what my eye thought was okay. Or must I solder two 10awg together to make a thicker Y? I will run short peak of 65A. But maybe more like 30A cont. Since they are connected with each other again by the...

Re: Common pack design mistakes, how to avoid?

I think in the link to the SmartGauge 4P-example they have 20 cm length between each battery? With 18650 cells it is more like 2 cm? And they add resistance to each connection but if you have like in my example lika a "bus bar" there is only one connection to each cell regardless of how many P. And ...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Thanks then that is probably the problem! I have not tested yet, but I see the spring is all the way ”out” so there is no pressure on (no pre-load?). I have earlier only tested turning the little blue one for the piston. Found the manual now and there is a smaller red one also that does sonething......

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

I would say the sound was from the coil spring grinding against the piston, since it is silent when I putted a little grease where the piston colour was removed. So no problem with oil but what do I know...? Am I right I should adjust the angle a couple of mm? Even though you would think it should j...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

My rear suspension has some colour removed (think it calls abraded in english) on left side. I have had a little sound from suspension and after putted a little grease between the piston and coil spring the sound is gone. But this should not happened at all should it? Do I have a bad angle between t...

Re: Common pack design mistakes, how to avoid?

.... In theory. This is what I was thinking about. Anyone have experience of this or is most of it in theory? Then ofcourse each pack and material would be different. So the theory is that the extra cm of material resistance (compared to first cell) would be so high that first cell would take so mu...

Re: How to know if battery supports regen?

I will not do it mainly for the extra range of battery, even though I think will get a few % extra since it is a heavy cargo bike and I have a lot of small and big hills here. I would do it to save my brakes because I feel I use them a lot to slow down the speed even in smaller hills because I don’t...

Re: How to know if battery supports regen?

I found this link and someone there says "A couple in parallel might work pretty well for a bigger DD, but the charging isn't through the output leads, so you would sacrifice regen if that were an issue." Does not sound so good. Does it mean I can not use regen on this battery, or was this problem o...

How to know if battery supports regen?

Hi, How do I know my battery supports regen? Is it depending of what BMS is used? I have a battery a few years old from BMSBattery "bottle-09". I have not opened it up to look at the BMS but according to the link below this is the BMS that I have. It has a charge and discharge port. And with regen h...

https://endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=98636 How much difference is this "worst current share" regarding current draw? Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Thank you for your suggestions! I had speed mode selected and when I changed to torque mode the motor turns really nice! I read now in the manual that torque is default, is this considered the best mode to use? For me it feels best now when motor seems to run much better, but actually running for re...

Here is the motor during autodetect. Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

My motor is jerky, (I think it is called.) Anyone know why? See video below. It is adaptto mini and Leaf 1500W motor. It is really jerky on low speed and when you speed up it keeps doing so but fades away so in the end you don't notice it. And when riding for real you hardly notice it at the beginni...

Re: What charge state best to check bad cell?

But the cells are almost new (or at least not used before) so I was thinking they should match, and the Adaptto just show it so clear... I dont have anything to charge/discharge cells that also measure stuff. Maybe if I spread all the cells of the bad block to all other P-blocks (change with each ot...

What charge state best to check bad cell?

I have a battery where one paralell pack (8P) gets drained faster. And it charges faster too, though last time (if I remember correct) it charged slower so I am not sure anymore... 0,1V or so in difference. Anyway when is best time to take battery apart to compare the 8 cells? I was thinking maybe 1...

Thanks for example video. Kind of what I was thinking, only smoke that also can damage a lot but at least no flames outside burning up the house. That was lipo but mayby it looks similair with 18650.

Re: Safe cage, Really that important?

What if you have a steel bike with built in battery? Like in my case Stealth FUTR Beta: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=193757 You don't have much choice than charge on bike, and maybe you want to store the bike in the basement. Sure smoke will get out, but is that all? (I kno...

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

If the wires are getting warm, increasing the wire thickness will reduce the resistance and thus losses to heating that wire. Since you are running fairly higher current (40A+), I would say that thickening the phase wires will help. Also consider your connectors and if they are up to the job. I wou...

Re: Will my front fork setup hold or failure?

I have C-washers, home made because I could not find a place to buy them from without huge shipping. The fork does not flex inwards, more like 2mm bent out because I have a washers on the inside as well. It did not feel good to tighten the fork direct on motor because the motor surface is not flat. ...
