Re: Yet another BBS02 build, BeOne Nirvana 2.0

Looks really neat - how far can you go on a full charge? So is that right the BBS02 would be the best option for a full suspension; lightweight e-bike, floating typ of e-bike in comparison to all the hub-drive bikes out there? I really want to get an e-bike or build one myself; I am living in German...

Re: MXUS 3000 Hub Motor

So I probably want to get a 20x2.30 inch bxm rim or something like that with 36 spoke holes, anything else I need to keep in mind when buying a rim?

Or just tell me what you ordered :P

If you want more torque/less top end speed but then you could just as well go for a smaller rim size.

Re: EU Group Buy for MXUS 3000W Hub Motor 177€ + Shipping

Is it hard to lace this motor myself? lacing wheels is not actually that hard. as long as the spokes are the right length, and the angles of the holes in rim are ok, its a piece of piss. the only thing is it takes a couple hours, specially if your not that practiced, just rotating the wheel slowly ...

Re: Newbie Questions

A member here, I think it was Crossbreak, installed lipo batteries in a bicycle frame. He said he would never do it again, as it was extreemly laborious. Ah okay thanks, I'll look that up. It would still be awesome if I could get the questions I asked one post above answered :) Or do you guys know ...

Re: Newbie Questions

I think I know a little more that I actually want to^^ The tradeoffs :( I'll better start with the basics I guess You always have to trade off acceleration for top speed right? Because.. high voltage/low ah's = high speed / low acceleration(torque) high ah's/low voltage = high acceleration(torque) /...
