Re: CHEAP NEW ORYGINAL CELLS LI-ION 18650 FROM 1,09$ 2200-3500mAh!

I'm sorry to tell you that this way of measuring could give faulthy results. I'm sure the amp load is correctly but this unit does not measure the cell voltage at the terminals. It measures all sag through intermittent connections depending on battery holder spring pressure including the wire losse...

Re: CHEAP NEW ORYGINAL CELLS LI-ION 18650 FROM 1,09$ 2200-3500mAh!

Was your NCR18650A's unwelded cells or new? If unwelded they could be somewhat used and the sag you are seeing is from increased internal resistance from the ageing process. Maximum drop at 1.5A should be 0.1V at good cells. Are you performing the voltage drop test properly? If you do it wrongly yo...

Re: CHEAP NEW ORYGINAL CELLS LI-ION 18650 FROM 1,09$ 2200-3500mAh!

Started working on the NCR18650A's I received. Quite a bunch of them were at 4.0V, so had to do some discharging. While doing that, I realized the voltage sag on these cells might bring me into trouble. I am building a 14s4p pack, that will be used for my commute. It will average at 6A = 1.5A/cell =...

Hi, Anybody knows if the BBS02 controller from greenbikekit has 100% throttle in PAS level 0 for the pre-2016 model? https://www.greenbikekit.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/b/a/bafang-8fun-mid-crank-system-controller-bbs02-48v-750w_1.jpg https://www.greenbik...

Re: CHEAP NEW ORYGINAL CELLS LI-ION 18650 FROM 1,09$ 2200-3500mAh!

What's the verdict on the Panasonic NCR 18650A cells? Much cheaper than the GA cells. Looking for 14S4P at 20A max just for daily commute small light pack, so 5A per cell. These NCR18650A look good, but are they old? 5A per cells cont discharge for 18650A could be little too much. I think it's goin...

2x BCD104 adapter BBS01/BBS02

Hi, I'm selling my never used BBS0x BCD104 adapters. They are 6mm countersunk, giving a better chainline compared to most other adapters. Location: The Netherlands. Price is 20 euros each, including shipping in the EU using regular snail mail in a bubble enveloppe. https://s9.postimg.org/hs3sjkpdn/2...

Is there any way to know which gear I need, without opening up the unit?
I am ordering some parts and like to include a gear as well just as a spare.

I had a chance this past weekend to thoroughly test out the reed-switch type speedometer sensor. It works fine. Charlie How did it go after that. Controller still working fine? Re: Bafang BBSxx - fault finding and fixes

My Ba-Fang arrived yesterday. Before mounting it, should I open it up and apply: *white lithium grease to the plastic gears, and *moly grease to the main drive gear; * or put Mobilgrease 28 on both, as suggested in this article https://electricbike-blog.com/2015/12/23/mobilgrease-28-bbshdbbs02-beca...

Thank you.
Yes, it stops if you stop pedaling (or pedal backwards).

I think the unit is designed for this rpm, so I think you'll need higher voltage to get higher rpms.

On the basic page I can adjust the "limit current" and "limit speed" at PAS 0. Sorry for asking but...

Not sure if that could happen indeed, although one of the wires has the full battery voltage on it. Not sure how an USB port would react to that.

Re: New Bafang Crank-Drives

Buy as much power and battery as you can afford..... You can always go light on the throttle on a higher v system. If it is cheaper, buy the 36v BBS02 and just reprogram for 48 or 52 then put the leftover money into more battery. It all looks the same from the outside if legalities are an issue whe...
