Source of "HAILONG-1-II" in white ?

Anyone know a place to purchase the Hailong-1-II 13S/5P case in white ? (also called "Shark", "Dolphin" or "Case-08" (at BMSbattery). All I can find is black, but the picture on this page alludes that white might be out there somewhere :) http://www.createbattery.com/SSE-0772436V48V-10-30Ah-LiNCM-Ba...

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

The smallest ones on his website are 44T. I would have got a 42 if he advertised them :( You're right, that's weird. I didn't ask special it; ordered right off the site. His site also shows it as $10 but I paid $8 so the site has def' been changed. Hrmm. I think I'm going to go count the teeth on m...

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

[You can always just parallel the 2 brake levers to the one connection as they are in parallel at the controller going of the signal. Or maybe even neater cut or slit the rear brake lever cable and splice the wiring into the 5v and negative line and leave the brake wired as is, that way you get the...

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

Does anyone know if there is a relatively easy way to pickup a trigger off the BBS02/750 without taking appart the motor/controller ? My goal is to electronically "turn on" a USB power port (and inverter) when the BBS02 is turned on using the standard soft switches on the C691 display. The end-goal ...

1) Turned out the motor torqued itself out of alignment without the missing bolt, so the spindle was no longer parallel to the motor. [...] 2) Everything went back together perfectly. I used these and they worked:

But then I ended up replacing the male (motor) side after shortening anyway.

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

Wow, that'll be nuts. I'd probably consider using the cardboard tube separators or plastic grid holders to ensure a short doesn't occur. That's a lot of energy between your legs :-p I'd also be curious how well the controller holds up to the 14S pack voltage long-term. Teslanv has a 14S setup and ha...

caveat: this is for 4.2V LiPo chemistry. I'm unsure of the LiFe voltages but I would imagine the same delta values would work, while the V(target) would just be lower.

Re: OSBMS - A scalable, low cost, and full featured BMS

In that realm, does anyone know what the most efficient balancing method would be? Is there any way to predict which cells will need to be balanced while charging and preemptively start to balance them? The standard for MP-controlled LiPo hobby chargers is to: Perform test discharge of main pack at...

Re: Ebike Battery Monitoring and Control System

You could probably even use plastic rectangular gutter down pipe like this if it has the right dimensions. I originally used Polyvinyl rain gutter downspout for my batterycase (3x 4S1P 5Ah HK hardpack LiPo that you and most others use) but at 222Whr, the battery was *just* enough capacity for me (1...

Re: A Collection of Power Supplies and Charging Solutions

i think most of the 36v controllers will work with no problem up to 15S lipo full charge. it would help to increase the input power resistor to reduce the voltage input on the regulator. This article states they found caps inside rated to 63v: https://www.electricbike.com/bafang-bbso2-750w-mid-driv...

Just so I understand correctly, the standard "48v" 13S system would require 1x master and 2x slaves, with the last slave being used for the final 1S unit ?

With this function you can set the voltage and current output.

Hi Does any body have any Idea on how to turn this into a bulk charger? That would be a cool mod. Select the cell count manually (e.g. "10S") instead of selecting "Auto" and it becomes a non-balancing charger. There is no mechanism to extend the charge voltage above 43.5 termination voltage (10S@4....
