Sweet ride man. You ever take out the V2100 anymore now that you have this thing?

Re: eleven6's 3.6KW V2100 Completed Build (Farfle)

I think I want MORE POWERRRR!!! Too bad that's not in the cards for this update. So winter's been excessively wet here and that's really put a damper on riding (pun intended). I did manage to get out for a few rides here and there though, and having not done any cold-weather riding before I was stil...

I've been waiting for him to respond with an invoice since the 7th. At this point I have to assume he is not serious about his business here and I'm going to move on.

Re: Cheap urban FS DD beater

Those white-walled tires look pretty slick with the white fork. Looks like you'll have a comfortable upright riding position, should be a nice cruiser when it's finished!

eleven6's 3.6KW V2100 Build

Hey Endless-sphere, Since the rainy winter weather hasn't provided too many opportunities to get out and ride for this fair-weather rider, I figure I'd do the next best thing and take this opportunity to share my first e-bike build that I finished this summer. I've spent a lot of time on this forum ...

Re: Kilowatt Bag Holds Over 2 KWh of LiPo or 18650's $80 Shi

Post a photo of what you mean, and I'll see what I can do. https://i.sli.mg/lAIEeE.jpg Having a strap right underneath the flap velcro allows it to encircle the headtube without pulling at an angle if you were to use the lower strap. Regardless, hope we get enough buyers, wouldn't want to use any o...

Re: Kilowatt Bag Holds Over 2 KWh of LiPo or 18650's $80 Shi

In for another one for my brother's bike build.

Is there any room to make a request to place another strap along the top portion right underneath the flap? I had it put on my Kilowatt bag after the fact, but it'd be nice to get it stitched on during the fabrication if that's possible.

Re: Evolution of a 1st ebike....

A Suntour NCX or Thudbuster suspension seat-post may seem pricey, but they are well worth it on a hardtail frame. I think the Suntour might be slightly shorter (which can be a factor because either one will raise the seat a little) I have a cruiser frame and I still cut 1-1/2 inch off the top of th...

SOLD: 12S Meanwell HLG 320H-48C

Hi, I intended for this to be my mobile bulk charger, but it turns out I needed to get the "42" version of this charger to dial down to the 40.5VDC I'd like to charge at. This one only goes down to 43V (43 to 52VDC range, additional specs in link) . Price lowered, $75 shipped, US only , will be usin...

Re: Low-Profile Protective Gear for High Powered E-Bikes

Dogman, I'm finding that I spent most my time below 25 mph; however, I'll kick it up to 40 mph on occasion and join traffic to get to where I want to go. Since the majority of my time is spent cruising, I don't want to be fully decked out in gear so I can enjoy the weather, but am still looking for ...

Low-Profile Protective Gear for High Powered E-Bikes

With high-powered builds comes the need for decent protective gear. To start, I'm a total novice when it comes to motorcycle gear and protecting yourself at high speeds on two wheels. So I'm hoping we can get some contributions in this thread from the 3KW and up crowd to help out newcomers and share...

Re: US Group buy for the new MXUS 3000w V3

Motobikewheels, I know I said it before, but thanks again for the group buy. Finally finished my first ebike build and it is freaking awesome! Have yet to get the speedometer working, but it's topping around 35-40 mph from pacing cars. 4T motor eats up the hills and barely gets warm at 45A after qui...

Re: US Group buy for the new MXUS 3000w V3

Can anyone confirm this is correct for a Lyen controller. I pulled this from another thread: Halls - Motor/Controlller G-G Y-B B-Y Phase - Motor/Controller Y-B B-Y G-G thanks, Devo, I swapped the green and yellow wire phase and hall sensors, worked perfectly first time with my LYEN 12FET Controller...

Re: US Group buy for the new MXUS 3000w V3

Moto, sorry to hear about the shipping woes! I will paypal you some extra $$ as a "thanks for the group buy" once I have the motor and wheel. I just finished my bike build, and learned that at least one of the hall sensors is down when I went to twist the throttle for the first time. So I'm looking ...

Re: JP spot welder

@Hwy89 Unfortunately it's not a connection problem. I had an extra 12V battery I hooked the welder directly to the terminals (see pic) with the same result. No green led, no weld. Any ideas? Definitely sucks to be at the end of a year long project without a path forward. Is Riba not around anymore? ...

Re: JP spot welder

Riba (anyone), I setup my welder for the first time and ran into some trouble. I'm not an electronics whiz, so I could really use some help troubleshooting. I got the welder connected directly to the negative lead of a 12V 490A car battery holding a charge at 12.9V. I've tried 2 power supplies, the ...

Cool, I think what I'll do is use this belt tape and then double up on the series connections with some .15mm x 8mm wide single tape. Thanks flangefrog, that's a nice battery build you have, I'm using those black plastic battery holder's too. I'm considering using those electric insulator rings for ...

Re: Belt (Interconnected) Nickel Tape

Ah thanks, somehow I missed that chart. Looks like I would barely be in the acceptable range of 6.0 A with a 5.6 A requirement, which doesn't account for phase amps I think, definitely not ideal.
