Re: Razor E3000 brushed

Great posts Ianhill, I too have taken the e300 to the max of its commute abilities, but decided to overvolted the smaller 36v 1020 to get the desired results. I use the 36v 13a 2250rpms motor on 48v it handles the heat very well, carries two ppl and gets to 24mph on 55t but most importantly it just ...

Re: Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 6374-149kv for $46 !!

Exactly What would I have to do to use this on a light stand up scooter for heavier rider? Have others done it with this motor?

Yet another Noob Question for HUB Help

I purchased a budget hub kit for GF for holidays. 36v500w not great but cheap… Connected everything but PAS, brakes, and light (which is not ON switch). Plugged in battery and throttle lights lit up but no hub movement with throttle twist. http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/b483/Elvill/WP_20151202_...

Re: Goped ESR upgrade - TURNIGY 6374 build

This thread is a great example of costs/benefits of going rc outrunner in a stand up scooter. I know many have done it but IMO outrunner is overkill in a standup and waste of watts/power and will not be a reliable setup longterm. If you want 24mph and 14miles range you can do it super cheap under $1...

Re: HK LIPO and BMS?

Thanks for the replies :) dogman might you have a pic of your single cell pack charger setup alarms warn me if a cell gets too low but combination of pushing 6s5ah quite hard for short distances ruined more than a few packs, your setup will help and me using larger capacity packs. Its just my imax b...

HK LIPO and BMS?

Is a BMS needed with LiPo battery? and how would I hook it up? I use alarms to monitor LiPo during ride and balance charge to make sure balanced - BUT I've had times where a cell or two become .2 unbalanced while running and my entry level hk chargers don't balance them well at all when they become ...

Re: Razor E300 - Acid lead to LiPO

Depends… If your 300 has thumb throttle variable speed right now then controller will probably be able to take 36v easy. I did this and been overvaulting stock with 36v lipo for great results. If you are heavy you will want to change out the 55t with 80t then your motor will last. Otherwise it will ...
