Well my own theme never was standard on screen when browsing E-S (I got it all blackened out with only white and soft blue letters to make it more comfortable to read).

I noticed a bug : when posting while already connected, I have to reconnect anyway. Apart from that I like the new look !

Hi why not make your own based on a dirt scooter and electric bike parts? 1300$ is a steep budget which allows a quality build.

Also, question question for Vanarian, what are the other popular e-skate communities these days? Hi :) mainly I see Reddit and electric skateboard builders, e-sk8.fr and .de are also working fairly active and regular with many core members. I have hard time using reddit because of the format, though.

Stupid question from stupid me :P Why not plasti-dip the whole connections with spray after battery is assembled? It solves the copper corrosion problem and adds better protection against wet. Your board size 160x90 mm is kind of big. Too big for an ebike IMHO. I like VESC-X size. The case is 64x64x22mm. Perfect fit with 18650 cells. This isn't for ebikes. LG HB series no contest as far as continuous high amp and low temperature go. (under 80 degrees) 30A without problems. Highly underrated here because of low capacity. Hey I've been trying to figure a proper size to try this and came with an issue : what about added resistance of the fuse wire compared to a "normal sized" one? That's potential lot of voltage drop to account for.

After looking different DIY fuses packs, I came to realize that this is only suited for low discharge cells for big parallel packs. At the levels I want to discharge mines (30A continuous to 60A seconds of bursts per cell), are there any fuses with compact sizes able to stress 60A without breaking? ...
