Re: Qulbix Q76R Frame Kits & Complete Bikes PRE-ORDER

You can't really compare this to the Sur-Ron as it has no real pedal option. the Sur Ron actually has a pedal option, it's just janky: https://surron.co.uk/products/surron-lbx-pedal-conversion-kit Besides, here's my q76 (updated since then with a nucular) : https://gloob.eu/2019/04/07/qulbix-almost...

Re: Qulbix Q76R Frame Kits & Complete Bikes PRE-ORDER

Hey, Max speed on mine ( qs205 @ 72v ) is something like 70km/h without flux weakening. BUT: even though the frame is nice and robust, I wouldn't recommend getting one. The problem about this bike is that it sits between the light motorcycle market where it is dominated by sur-ron, and "heavy ass pe...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Made a quick ride today and decided to change the throttle mode from torq+speed (a la Kelly) to torque mode. This is so much better, ramp up is quicker when going from standstill. And control at high speed is much smoother It's nice to be able to change the setting on the fly without any usb dongle ...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

pretty impressive .. what's your stopping distance at those speeds?? It depends on the mass of the obstacle... my implication was that the stock brakes may become inadequate once the power and speed is multiplied.. there's a lot of things that are inadequate at those speeds. let's take the sand up ...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Went for a quick ride Street and off-road, I confirm: motor is cooler than usual. Also, I get more torque at high speed than with my kls. In torq+speed mode at low speed torque is a little bit weaker than the kls. I guess ramp up is slower. I think I read in the wiki that it is configurable? Max sp...

Re: Converting B'twin Bike to Electric

Hey, Before talking about the electronics, I would suggest studying the mechanical stress you will add to your bike. A common mistake first time builders ( and even second time builders) do is getting a nice motor and battery, and slapping it on the cheapest bike they can find. You have to understan...

Re: Wholesale 18650 cells for UK/EU

So I just placed an order at the wholesale platform. Setting up the account was a bit tedious as some web browsers can have issues during the application process, but support was very reactive; I'm actually impressed I got several replies that fast, this late during the day (10 pm here). Prices are ...

Re: Sur-Ron - Belt upgrade KIT

I don't own a sur-ron so it may not be relevant but won't the
particules grind down the belt ? I was told to never use grease on plastic because when it dries it leaves debris that grinds anything where there's friction (you have to make sure to use grease that doesn't dry)

I didn't really focus on that. I don't think they moved though. Not sure if they changed the design either... Did you try to use blue loctite or blue silicon? (or even red loctite if you don't plan to remove them)

Re: SUPER SOCO ... no Sur-ron here =)

I was seriously looking at this bike for some time but there were some issues reported on a french forum dedicated to this bike that turned me off. Basically everything is cheap on this. there's humidity on the speedometer, while riding and when there's vibrations the bike stand triggers an auto-off...

Re: Qulbix Q76R Frame Kits & Complete Bikes PRE-ORDER

Yes voltage is correct. By high and low spots I mean that the sides are not completely flat anymore and vibrations could make some cables rub against each other. I saw you put some foam in some places in order to prevent that
