Re: Ebike Hub Motor overheating cooling solution - HUBSINK OFFICIAL THREAD

Conclusion: Diameter (287.4mm) is a few mm less than the 295mm of QS273, could be problematic for a good contact surface with hubsinks. Get a 15mm wide, 902mm long and 1mm (or 1.2mm/1.5mm) thick aluminum strip cut at a customer friendly fabrication shop or sheet metal supplier. Every 1mm thi...

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-14kW Electric Hub Motor Manufacture China

The words "due to budget" don't go well with "what is the most powerful motor you make"... I think you need to read up on all the pro's and con's of all the type of motors (hub, mid drive and the different types) available out there. And then see what is the best choice for the type of vehicle you w...

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-14kW Electric Hub Motor Manufacture China

What is the most powerful motor you make? That depends on what application you need it for. Is it for a bicycle, moped, motorcycle, car or something else? If I remember correct they are also able to make a double stator hub motor. In the basis it is as the title says: 0.5-14kW. That is continuous s...

Re: Tesla Model 3

In our country (NL/EU) the Tesla Model 3 was the best selling (new/lease/company) car in the month September. I suspect it will keep the lead until the end of the year. But next year the tax (bijtelling) will go up for company electric lease cars so that might change things.

That's why most people here build their own bikes. And use motors and controllers they can modify themselves. I don't know what motor/controller combo your bike has so no idea what is possible. Maybe you could have googled it yourself...? https://www.ebiketuning.com/ Or just sell the Haibike and buy...

So 401Nm/7.94 (gearbox reduction)= 50.5Nm from the motor. I think the 400Nm must have been from the motor. Yes of course it is 400Nm from the motor, the factory Gen1 leaf makes 280Nm. A puny e-bike hub motor makes more than 50Nm. That would mean that multiplied with the 7.94 gear reduction of the L...

No it was 296 lb-ft at the wheels (see from 56 sec. in video on the dyno) and the Nissan Leaf drive train has a 7.94:1 reduction inside. That equals 401Nm at the wheels. I don't know the inter...

Re: Suzuki GSX-R e899 K2

If you use the calculator I linked to then 600Nm at 4000rpm gives 337hp. So roughly the same as the Nissan Leaf motor with Arlo's controller/inverter. That would cost less than €2000,- for motor and controller/inverter. How much will you be spending on the motor and controller you have (ordered)...?

Wow nice build! What battery cells are those? And did you keep them that far apart for cooling? Otherwise it seems you would have room for more cells when getting them closer together. And with more cells in parallel they stay cooler anyway. Also the seat seems to be very far rearward. Keep up the g...

Re: Suzuki GSX-R e899 K2

Arlo got just above 400Nm and 300bhp from the standard Nissan leaf drive train: S6OInkLWAhk So 401Nm/7.94 (gearbox reduction)= 50.5Nm from the motor. You would need a higher top speed so can probably change the final reduction to 6:1 (or even 5:1) with the sprockets. Here is his thread: https://endl...

Why not buy an existing electric scooter or bike that can do that?
