### Re: Optimum Battery set up for my EV scoot Spec?

Big thanks -675 is the one. I just watched an excellent You tube video on battery building by Lee Wright and realised I had screwed up on the battery count! If you want to read about battery pack building here on E-S, then look in these threads: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&...

### Re: Optimum Battery set up for my EV scoot Spec?

Ah, I thought you meant 375 cells. Either way, the OP should understand that the number of cells in series gives the total voltage (27S @ 4.2V = 113.4V) and the number of parallel cell groups (27 cells in series) gives the maximum amps (25P @ 15A = 375A, 25P @ 20A = 500A). And that a 27S25P battery ...

Where did you get the 15 from when the OP states 27S25P...?

### Re: Optimum Battery set up for my EV scoot Spec?

I have gone with the following battery set up; ....27S25P.... I will use 18650's Samsung 30Q, 3000 mAh, 3.6v, Discharge 15A. That calc's to 1125A..think that will do! 52 batteries comes in at 2.4 Kg, which does not seem too bad- I will save that weight in changes I'm making to the Lambretta panelli...

Selling an original Super Soco battery from a sharing-CUX e scooter.
How did you get that battery if it's from a sharing scooter? Hope it wasn't stolen?

Hello In 2018-19, we built a children's kart, on which we installed a modified 6 kW AC motor, a 24-felt controller of our own design and a Nissan Leaf 36v battery. Great work and nice project :thumb: Could you start a thread about your build especially the controller and motor you used for this kar...

Sounds like a great plan to commute with a scooter on the highway at 100km/h in a dress... Having done it myself, its not as breezy on the nethers as you would expect. The big front fairing stops all but the most vigorous crosswinds. Yes, it's the crosswinds that you should be worried most about. N...

I'm building a EV scoot from scratch and looking for the optimum battery set up, I have plenty of package space for the batteries but a bit stuck on what set up to go for to get the best out of hub motor and controller. Look in Ripperton's scooter thread as he is building a serious battery pack: ht...

There must be higher pitch/faster (aftermarket) props from different manufacturers that can be made to fit? In the trolling motor world there are guys making their own props or using model aircraft props with surprising results (higher speeds @ less amps so longer trips): QfNWmJ2DbgM hIXckCOSuWg

Are those bikes for people with disability (very short legs and very long arms...)?

Would DIY nickel plating be doable? First flatten the dimples on flat surface with sandpaper and then nickel plate them.

The placement of the motor sprocket seems to be much higher than on ICE engined bikes. I think it should be lowered 5cm (or more) and checked with compressed suspension when on the ground with all the weight including rider on it.

Indeed a very nice build.
But I would suggest placing the battery pack in the triangle for much better weight distribution.

### Re: Getting Into Electric Power Catamarans

The cavitation would indicate that a different prop could bring even higher top speed without the ventilation and be more efficient. I would hook up a watt meter to see how much amp draw there is at different intervals/speeds. And try an even larger/higher pitch prop to see the difference.
