Would hope the Sur-ron would be next.
The Sur Ron Light Bee has been available as a street legal moped (L1-e vehicle) in the EU for a few years now.

Re: E-powered Inflatable Kayak Intex Explorer.

Great project and thanks for explaining how you built it. I bought a 24V 86lbs trolling motor with a broken resistor switch (only top speed works) and a PWM controller last year. Unfortunately haven't been able to build a boat project with it yet. I think a change in prop will give even more runtime...

Looks like a great choice for my 500+lb cargo bike in long steep mountain road country.
Wow, that's a heavy rig. Any photos you can post of that bike build?

I'll describe it.
That's a shame. Would have loved to see the construction. Especially how the gearing/drive is made.

In conclusion... it's a big upgrade and worthwhile if your motor's kV is way off.
Well done and great result :thumb:

Any chance you can post a photo of how the motor is mounted to your bike?

Re: beach cart

For a two or more wheeled vehicle in sand with low speed and a heavy load, the most cost effective way would be to use a solid axle driven by a geared brushed motor like a MY1020Z and low gearing. https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/4000079567019.html Or use two of these with ATV wheels/tires on them: ht...

Interesting but seems a lot of power for a BBS02.

Why not sell your BBS02 kit and get a CYC Pro kit?: https://www.cycmotor.com/x1-pro-gen-2

Re: Electric liveaboard catamaran project

Outboards aren't bought yet, but while an inboard may have some advantages, I'm going for a boat with no holes below the waterline. Although a project on its own, I love the EV conversion of an outboard motor "goatman" is doing for his Bayliner: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic...

Re: Electric liveaboard catamaran project

I'll only be back at the boat in April so between then and now it'll be a lot of research, ordering components and watching videos on how to work with fibreglass. If anyone has some good resources on that please let me know. Nice boat project! Have you already bought the electric outboard motors? I...

I have a Gazelle Easy Glider that I would love to add some sort of electric support to. It has front and rear suspension and a 8 speed Shimano rear gear hub. Great bike but I could use some assist on it so I'll follow this thread :thumb:

Re: Optimum Battery set up for my EV scoot Spec?

From looking at my motor Spec, it states peak battery current at 130A & suggested phase current at 587-734A. The controller max current draw is 600A but my assumption is I could restrict this and would need to anyway based on my motor Spec? I know this would not get the max performance but I'm ...

Very interesting project but I get an error for the github link.
