Amazing performance with such simple hand tools! Your video definitively is a source of inspiration to me. Thanks for taking time!
Thank you!

I've edited lot more hours, this time making the Emoto frame: .

Re: bluetooth BMS?

Ok. Giving another shot. Have 2 batteries, 20S and 10S. Questions if i mey: How do you hook up 10S battery to 15S bms? Just skip all the remaining connections ? Can someone link me to a page with correct settings for these units? I stopped at page 15, too much for me :) I will have relay connected ...

Re: bluetooth BMS?

i played around and the bluetooth apps of the smart BMS work on both of my Android mobile and tablet now. can update some parameters, but some parameters calculated from these updated parameters are incorrect, but in my opinion, this may not really affect how the charge & discharge work correctly (...

Have you pressed the "Read" button already? Application show weird default values before reading the real config of the device.

Re: bluetooth BMS?

I have installed this BMS last year. Over the winter i left my battery unattended and this BMS drained it flat. Had brand new cells that went to the bin. Had no chance to go through all the posts but is this known issue? I have 2 of them, 15S and 20S. Balancing and charging was ok but parasitic dra...

Re: bluetooth BMS?

Is there a smart bluetooth BMS where i can set a maximum charging limit? I don't want to charge my batteries more than let's say 80%. JBD BMS can do what you want. You need to set a maximum voltage per pack, or per cell, and the charge mosfets will cut the charge at that voltage threshold. You need...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I hear these long rants about forks and quality and durability and dream about 10 meter jumps you are doing with you bikes. I think it is time to begin posting what we are talking about. For example, here is how I twisted my DNM forks. I can re-clamp them but after any other big hit they come back t...

just got a budget quad piston for the front only. the rear tire is already easy to lockup working great so far. i also got these 203mm rotors. thicker and heavier than shimano RT-66 that i replaced. 250g each. seems to be more powerful too, probably due to having more contact area i.e. less drilled...

Re: Completed DIY E-Bike Display with a JBD BMS

When looking for a BMS, I wanted to find one that could display pack data and power on a screen. I was so curious to see how much power my motor drew when riding along with my cell voltages. While there are BMS's out there that can do this, they are expensive and I found the JBD smart BMS and Simat...

They work now. Nice skid plate!. Which front fender are you using? How it works for you? Looks a bit short on the front so maybe some mud fliies to helmet/face at higher speeds. I'm on the research of the perfect fender.

I desoldered all discharge mosfets. Two in total were short.
I desoldered all charge mosfets. All were good.

Qgx0rt-1LCw i should not have procrastinated w/ the sensor install. i would've seen that the yellow phase wire was rubbing against the rotor. eventually the insulation and copper wire wore off and started acting like brushes, hence the scorch marks quality on this BHT motor is really crap  Bum...

Re: New build, BHT mid-drive "direct", custom frame

Are you monitoring temps inside the motor? By the time the heat soaks through to the case it could be way too late for the windings. Great job on the bike build by the way! I agree with that. I've fixed the temperature sensor (the same as the picture, with the remote display) inside the motor, on t...
