Re: Electric kart

I would say that now fast fixation is 99% done. Just have to find time to test it out in the field this year. https://youtu.be/TljsV2ZlSLQ PS! found this metal bar under the table and it suited just fine to help me to install and remove the battery. It gave me just the needed force that i could not ...

Re: RIPPY KART

I suggest you record gps with your phone in pocket. I have cycle analyst but hardly look at it in the race :) And afterwards add data to you video with racerender (2 minutes is for free). You can there multiply your speed to calculated constant to get rpm. And when you display rpm in video it makes ...

Re: 30Ah 28s LiPo from 7s bricks

Increased from 30Ah to 35Ah. So 28 Bricks together. Got aluminium and plywood water and laser cut. In the process of threading aluminium and then starting to add bms and fuse and other stuff. One brick is about 890g so 28pcs will be 27,44kg. I think it will be about the same weight as my A123 25Ah p...

Re: iCharger 4010 Duo review

No, you cant.
I did not read the manual and connected this way and one side of the charger blew fuses and etc.

If you want to use both sidesnof the charger at the same time then there must be two separate batterys only.
So you must put disconnect plug in middle
Of your pack.

Made a mock-up from cardboard to see how all the stuff will fit :) There will be two 350A anderson just for two motor setup  In regular races I will use only the back one (the one where there is also charger port). Idea is that if I need to change one brick, then this can be done easily, ju...

:bigthumb: I have a question about oil level in motor. Did you feel that almost full of oil there were some more amps required to spin the motor? I have an inrunner that has a little bit of oil inside to help spread the heat from coils to outer casing. And was thinking of modifing this to oilcooled ...

30Ah 28s LiPo from 7s bricks

Everybody have suggested that I should use lipo-s in my kart. So now I have made a plan to build this battery. And actually there is multiple goals to achieve when building this. 1. It should be lighter than my current ones. 2. I want to use this for my two controller+motor 1/4 mile test insted of t...

Replaced this Voltage regulator and charger started to work with 12V laboratory power supply output. IMG_4880.jpg Had to replace that 6,3V CAP also because it was a little puff to the eye. And it was only after I tried with 15V meanwhile. Then I turned charger off and upped voltage to 35V and when t...

do you have link for these "Using 300amp 1/0GA welding connectors"
I will build 6p usin 8awg wires, so was thinking of crimping one pack positive and another negative together.
because anderson 350 is too bulky, but this looks promising and can keep up my average 200A and peak 650A :)

Re: single cell or prebuilt pack

Green is amps, you can see green y axis in left.
Yellow is discharged mAh
Blue is temp
Red is pack voltage
Others are cell voltages.

Each has its own y axis in left or right
And x axis is elapsed time

Did the test with Zippy but first impression is that I need "Turnigy Heavy Duty" instead.
Will try to do more Amp test if I can get my iCharger DUO to get it to draw more amps.

Considering same thing. I bought one zippy compact 5Ah and 7s with 25c/35c raiting. Will test it with my icharger duo in sync mode with 70A and see how it handles. second choice was Turnigy Heavy Duty 5000mAh 7S 60C Lipo Pack w/XT90 but with these my pack would be 5kg heavier and also 12055cm3 rathe...
