Guys, can you please confirm whether the motor comes with such (sprocket type) axle by default or it needs to be customized by QS?
I asked QS for 420#, I recived the ones in the picture above,
Sorry but I have no idea if it is the default axale or not

Re: QS 3000w midmotor

Ok, thanks! :D I will get one with a chain sprocket. Could you post a pic of the axle interface? I wonder how easy it will be to eventually replace the sprocket or get a selection of sizes. Did they have 219 chain sprockets? You best email to qs they make the axle like you want for me they make it ...

Re: Rieju 50cc conversion

Are you scrapping the gearbox? 420 10-100 gearing is still 2.5x more torque than i have.. Do you need more? I think to put the motor in to a different bike frame. I have an old Aprilia Climber frame (unfortunately without the gearbox) that could be a good choice (instead of using my 50 cc Derbi Sen...

Re: Rieju 50cc conversion

Here: QS3000_motor_mount.zip 2pcs "brakeside support" and one "QS motor mount" assy needed Thanks Larsb, I am going to try to 3d model a 1°stage reduction #420 10:20 or 10:22 tooth. With 5000/6000 rpm I need more torque and less speed for my build. Using a wheel sprocket of 120 tooth seems to much ...

Re: Rieju 50cc conversion

I am fabricating a new mount for the motor. It will clamp to the swing axle and use the existing holes on the motor sides: image.jpeg It will give me 10mm of sideways adjustment and the correct axle to axle distance for the belt. I bet all but the sideplates could be 3Dprinted with enough strength,...

Re: Rieju 50cc conversion

I just joined to the qs 3000w motor owner club! :D I choose the 10 tooth 420 driven sprocket, relying to Lars and Bionincon build it should be a fine bot for off-road (with a 70 tooth sprocket) and road (with a 50 tooth sprocket) with a 18" wheel. In case I can always change the sprocket with a bigg...

I think you have a good question.. I wonder if there'll be an answer. Unlikely that anyone has tried both since the Votol is not used so much yet.
QS suggest Votol 150, probably is the best for plug & play....if it works..... :flame:

Couldn't get the bike moving today. I checked for faults and it seems controller is busted.
I know how frustrating can be, I am sorry for you trouble with the new Votol controller.

What are your thoughts about the QS-Motor support for broken/malfunctioning components?

Re: Rieju 50cc conversion

You'll like it! It's miles away from the crappy revolt motor. I think you'll need a new controller also, since kV is at 75 you'll want something capable of 500A phase to get things moving. With your gearbox the actual downgearing won't be an issue i guess. The QS3000W and EM150S is quite nice combi...

Just destroyed my KLS72300S controller sending a write command during motor run.

How can be possible that they do not put a software limitation to avoid to destroy the 200$ controller buy sending a simple write command ???? Probably it can be done with less than 10 line of code WTF!

Re: Revolt 120 pro eTrial overheating problem

Revolt just aint fit to make motors. I think you'll take a chance if you put energy into fixing that.. Do it the right way instead. Either grind new hall seats or use an encoder or external sensors. What controller do you use? If it's got 5V hall signals then i'd recommend an RLS RMC22 encoder, tha...

Re: Revolt 120 pro eTrial overheating problem

My guess is that it's liquid tape, certainly looks like it. It's not so hard to pull off in that case. Could you post pics of the sensor locations? If they haven't changed location from deep in the slots then you still might need to replace them even though you splice the wire. naa, they are always...

Re: Revolt 120 pro eTrial overheating problem

I second what Madin88 said, should be a warranty case. It's if you have the energy to chase them. I have some update to share. I disassembled the engine to see the root of the problem. I found that the cable used to fix the hall sensors exceed the external size (the diameter) of the rotor. During t...
