Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Thought I'd make a post to help anyone else who may have a bung screen and replace it with another second hand unit. I managed to buy an older second hand screen (green sides) and installed it on my '2015/2016' vintage max-e that has the black sides on the display. Turns out they are compatible, the...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

the battery is made up of 200 LG HG2 cells in spacers for a total of a 84v 30ah pack, the pack was welded with a arduino spot welder v3 with .3mm nickel strip and reinforced with 2.3mm solid copper which was tinned and then soldered on at 480 celcius for only 2-3 seconds then cooled with an ice wat...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Might be staying over your way Thursday lash. Will have my beta with me. I’ll throw one of my tensioners in the van and show you my setup. Dargh, and I was kind of down your way, coming back from a few days away in the caravan for a pre-xmas escape. Hit me up anytime for a ride, I want to do more r...

Re: Adaptto parts (France - Europe)

Hi, Im in Australia (Bendigo, Victoria).
I'd be interested in one of the displays with working buttons.

My display is fine, except for one down button not working.

Hopefully shipping is not too bad for this small piece.

Thanks,
Lee.

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Thanks cd. I have a bionicon C . Eco guide for that part of the chain, which certainly helps but I think I need a guide as the chain enters the main cog. So at the top. I have a guide that goes on the BB behind the crank, theres a slider adjuster thing that I'll need to the a bit longer out of alumi...

Ok, happy to have a go at getting them done locally. It's been a long time (school days) since I've used CAD, so it will be good to have a play around and get up to speed with all this new technology. So yeah, if you can send the step files that would be fantastic. either by email lee@leeashby.com o...

Re: 5 kW Giant Glory 1

Excellent work and thanks for the 3d PDF. I have a 2009 Giant Glory, I originally bought it for the FOX suspension for my FUTR Alpha build. I bought DNM USD8 Suspension to get it back rolling, and have been sitting on it contemplating converting it to electric. With this frame a mid drive such as a ...

Adaptto Display Wanted

Hi, I'm looking for a replacement Adaptto display. It's for a Max-E controller, I think the display is universal though... I'm in Australia. Bendigo, Victoria. My down button doesn't work, and I cant seem to fix it. So a replacement display I think is the best option. Let me know what you've got and...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Has anyone else done anything like this yet for their Alpha? I know Lash made a similar pack a while back, but can't recall if it was 14p like this. Hey CD, my pack was 20s10p the cells were nested together but only 5 wide i think from memory. I like simple packs so you can build fast. 14s14p is 19...

Your alpha came out great CD. How do you like that tensioner? Is that the one from cycling deal? I need to pick up a couple for some upcoming alphas. Id also like one like that for my own bike too.

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

thanks for the pics allex, that is helpful and you're right there will be a little pocket there for wires on the inside behind the battery. The external phases is tempting too, as you suggest to make rear wheel changes easy. A cable sheath of some sort could help protect the wires too from water or ...

Love it Lash, Hopefully, mine will look as good as that, Hey Whats largest tyre you can fit with 26" on the rear? I've gone with 2.35 wide and thats a comfortable close. 2.5 and 2.6 would probably be rubbing at some stage or make fitment a nightmare. There are a few things at play when fitting the ...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Some good info in there chaps. Remember to add longer disc brake bolts too if you have your rotor spaced out a bit. they can chew out pretty easy - resulting in the need for a whole new motor side cover.... Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Good pics to compare CD. The beta has a bit of a lip at the opening so its 100mm wide but then opens up to about 120mm. So its a bit restricted from the start unless you get into rolling it in, but im already angling it in longways! The fighter must be a tad wider im guessing. A future frame would b...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Ive basically finished my beta battery. went with 14s8p and laid it out like this https://leeashby.com/files/lashebikes/battery.jpg There were a few different ways to do it, but 2 layers seemed the best way to go. 8p blocks are fast to make especially with my 25mm wide nickel strip. Other wiggly L a...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

I am not sure what the hole is for, my guess would be for water drainage so that area is not sealed off. My other bit of thinking that it might have been a spot for them to do some welding from the inside on a few spots... Failing that it could be speed holes, or weight reducing technique  Eith...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

You can see them on powervelocity. Com and even download the app from the Play store. There are threads on here too. I'm sure there are benefits of a ca display too glance at. But I kind of like the idea of a clean set of bars. Plus you can always get a phone mount if you want to watch speed n data....
