Re: Need help with battery design for Enduro frame and suggestion for BMS

You can go with lipo or have a custom 18650 pack built. Also, em3ev has 20S10P batteries, but with ~100A peaks rather than 200A: https://em3ev.com/shop/em3ev-72v-20s10p ... ry-pack-1/

Re: Need help with battery design for Enduro frame and suggestion for BMS

VRUZEND not for high power designs at the moment. Only 3.5A per cell limit (10P = 35A limit).

Re: opinions about this 500watt model & hill performance

I think it would probably do fine. I looked at the review video (skip to ride at 21+ mins in) and the rider did not seem to have any issue going up a hill from a standstill (on grass?). Maybe contact the reviewer Court with your question?

Re: Wireless Connection from House into Garage

The units we use that just plug in to the AC socket and transmit through the house wiring (and one to the router) provide ethernet are TP-Link and work well and easy to install and cheap.

Re: Wireless Connection from House into Garage

There's some ethernet devices that work through power lines. Would depend on your wiring for your buildings.

Re: Multistar charger

I use a Meanwell HRP 600 48, which charges at 13 Amps max. I have it set to 49.8V to charge to 4.15v per cell on 12S battery. I use it on 2 6S 16ah multistars charges very quickly and the cells stay within a few hundredths of a volt.

Best to check your chargers outputs first with a multimeter, or monitor the voltage during charging to see why your not getting a full charge.

Re: Snapped fork dropouts

I think your torque arms are not on correctly. Should be mounted to back of fork instead of front. See: http://www.ebikes.ca/product-info/torque-arms.html

My guess is the CA is not configured properly. Do you have the manual? It's available online.

Try it without the CA, with the throttle directly connected to the controller.

Any possible way to ride with it against body, under coat or suit? I guess not so, due to the hard shape of the battery.

Re: What is the "Light Weight" go to "Hobby" Lithium packs

The cheap lipo alarms I had were so inaccurate at reading the individual cell voltages, 4-5 millivolts off on some if I remember correctly, that I got rid of them.

Why not ask the vendor why it's only charging to 52v?

Re: connecting cheap display to infineon controller

I would return that one and get a Cycle Analyst display, which will plug right into the controller. The Amazon one is going to be hard to figure out and may not be compatible with your controller.

Get a meter called the cycle analyst. You can often pick up a used one in the classifieds for around $50. Well worth it.

Re: Wires getting hot and insulation melting

Do a proper splice by interleaving the strands and then wrapping some fine copper strand around. Then solder. Oh, don't forget to put the heat shrink tubing on before joining up the wires.

Re: Wires getting hot and insulation melting

The picture does not really show where the wires are melting. Sometimes the connectors are too small and heat up a lot and melt the insulation. If that is the case, one solution is to remove the connectors and splice (solder) the wires together.

BBS01 mid-drive is different from other systems. I don't think it will work with it's existing controller. See

Re: 12v lead battery suddenly drained.

Charge the low 12v battery separately with a 12v charger. Get a dc to dc voltage converter to step down your 48v voltage to 12v for the lamp.
