No. It is a different one.
but are you using the same battery?

also in the controller there`s a white multi-plug that in my HD was not properly pushed home, gave the same problem as yours,

but check with a different battery if poss.

Pull the final drive cover off and check there`s plenty of grease on the cogs, an HD shouldn`t be noisy.

Is there a lights connector with permanent power, since the new EU regulation 168/2013 (type approval ) requires permanent light? And, is there a way to connect/implement "a brake light that lights up as soon as you start braking”?

Isn`t that for motorcycles not ebikes??

Something about strapping 3 drill batteries to my frame puts me off. I aim to have a simple install with a plug and play battery. I've found this on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ebike-Battery-48V-18AH-Heavy-Duty-Lithium-ion-For-1000W-Motor-BRAND-NEW-BOXED/322937880004?hash=item4b3098fdc4:g:C2QA...

Commuter version: @FreyBikes, will there be a commuter option? (hardtail frame, 29", rack, lights and fenders)? Apparently I am not alone with this usecase. Yes, i agree, there is a massive market out there for a hardtail or Hybrid ebike with these specifications. MTB is only a small market in comp...

Re: My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Left pedal crank arm loosening on the BBS02/HD versions was also an issue. Were they already fitted or did you fit yourself? To tighten properly use Loctite or similar threadlock along with a large Allen key and stand on the end of it to get enough torque! Anyway should be an easy fix when you get t...

@ FREYebikes, You`re doing a great job with the development of the AM1000 MTB, not all manufacturers take the time in listening to their customers the way you do - so well done! However i feel you`re missing out on an enormous market here, It`s the Hybrid and/or road ebike with your basic MTB specif...

Re: LVC Problem? with BBS02

I have the same set-up as yourself, but as Dan suggests you should leave the charger on to balance the cells. My 13aH 48v battery comes off the charger reading 54v. After 12 miles it will sag down to approx 46v on the display at times but your`s shouldn`t cut out. Could well be some of the cells are...

Re: Bafang 750w too powerful?

I am used to riding a TSDZ2 500w bike with a 10AH 48v battery. I recently built a BBS02b 750w bike with a 14ah 48v battery. My problem is that the Bafang seems to provide power in large short segments. While the TSDZ2 was more of a smooth ride with power equally provided as I pedaled, the Bafang wi...
