Re: Kelly KLS-S: Troubleshooting

If you need more regen then you need the more powerful Controller. That would be bad as the VESC from esk8.de (http://www.hellray.de/shop/#!/Electronics-&-ESC-made-in-Germany/c/15255004/offset=0&sort=normal) was made for 3kW also afaIk and still has a waaaaay better regen brake. I can see something...

Re: Kelly KLS-S: Troubleshooting

I can continue right after it cuts out. The throttle for sure won´t be a problem as it only cuts off the accelleration when I accellerate too hard . The battery is a Samsung 30q 12s5p battery. Also the regen is still very week. Vehicle https://i.imgur.com/L434uLg.png Control https://i.imgur.com/R8xt...

Re: Kelly KLS-S: Troubleshooting

Next question: The Kelly cuts off power when accelerating full throttle after 2-3 seconds from standing still. What to do with that?

Cheers + thanks.

I need some more power on my Kelly KLS-S Controller. How do I set it up? Anyone familiar with it?
Thanks in advice!

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-14kW Electric Hub Motor Manufacture China

Hello, I got a bill (first warning) from TNT for shipping two motors and a rim from QS factory to Germany (127,26€) from the 10th of September 2017 (today is 14. Novermber 2018). I payed it but I wonder if I really had to as I remember to have payed for shipping together with the motor. What is this...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Sorry for hijacking the topic: A friend of mine has a Mini-E and his state of charge stops at "78%" when fully charged. Two weeks ago it worked normally and showed "98%". (See video). What is going on? Does he only have to set his bike to "set full charge"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yJnIdlwcQ...

Re: 18650 battery pack build Kepler style

Just to recap, the cells are LG 2850 mah from this thread https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61608 My configuration is 14S 4P which means 56 cells are required. Ended up buying 60 cells which came packaged up as per the picture below (10S 3P) x 2 Batt.jpg First job was to break ...

Re: Conversion of 125cc bike

Great to hear, thanks a lot. I ask because I think about swapping our old Mercedes E220 from 1998 to electric. The easiest way would be to use two hub motors for it.

Cheers,
Elias

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

Don't know if you read my post in Allex Sur Ron thread, after a few bad accidents with powerful e-bikes we suddenly get too much heat on fast e-bikes. Police will even do fines, revoke licenses and might also take the bike. It is getting hard by the day to ride fast e-bikes in public, and even on p...

Re: Tesla Model 3

I see the biggest challenge to Tesla being the existing large ICE car manufacturers. Now the EV drivetrain is become mature and components & systems being offered by OEMs, it's becoming easier for them to nail together an effective EV and leverage their considerable existing manufacturing experienc...

Re: Tesla Model 3

It is fine to occasionally use a performance burst to make the finish line, but Tesla seems to try to do it all the time. Over the long haul it will fail. I don´t think so. In Germany we say wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt. Means nothing ventured nothing gained. Musk always knew in the past how t...

The few people I have known who worked at Tesla say it is a crazy place to work, huge stress, impossible hours, unrealistic deadlines and the CEO terrorizes the staff. Turnover is large. Not good.
