Re: Tesla Model 3

It is fine to occasionally use a performance burst to make the finish line, but Tesla seems to try to do it all the time. Over the long haul it will fail. I don´t think so. In Germany we say wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt. Means nothing ventured nothing gained. Musk always knew in the past how t...

Re: Tesla Model 3

The few people I have known who worked at Tesla say it is a crazy place to work, huge stress, impossible hours, unrealistic deadlines and the CEO terrorizes the staff. Turnover is large. Not good. Well I call everyone stupid who didnt know that before they have started there. If you want to make so...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Maybe first broken bone riding sur-ron on video to date, one rib has the familiar clicking of creptis on bone ends if I move around or laugh or cough. I got exactly what I deserved for pedal striking rock, and transitioning to an alternative style of riding featuring dominantly ribcage, forearm, an...

Re: Motorcycle-Brakes on eBike?

I just found some cheap knock offs (at least I call them like that) for 5 euros per set + 4 Euros shipping instead of 15-23 Euros. Just ordered four of them.. For ~30% of the original price I could brake down the Mount Everest yey..
I hope they also last long^^

Re: Tesla Model 3

I really do think Elon Musks business endeavors are all about building a cash pile big enough so he can go to Mars. Its possible that Elon smells the end of Tesla at least in a highest sellable share price and hes looking at other things, maybe the reason he did that flamethrower was to see how muc...

Re: Motorcycle-Brakes on eBike?

When I brake aggressively to have some drift-fun I always end up with having to replace them after 2-3 months Exactly how are you applying the brake? If you apply it suddenly and hard, to lockup the wheel instantly, it wont make much pad wear, because the pads only wear while they are rubbing again...

Re: Definitive Tests on the Heating and Cooling of Hub Motor

Meanwhile in Russia, they take another way to cool down the motors. It seems that ferrofluid is not enough for them so they actually use Active cooling and it is far more complex one. https://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/109878/132609820.b/0_14a2db_f317ad68_XXL.jpg https://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/109878...

Re: Motorcycle-Brakes on eBike?

Wow, that is a lot of a reply I have caused there.. Haha thanks :D Well Im confused. My friend Florian, who rides a old heavy duty Husqvarna on the track said he uses the same brake pads on his bike for already 2 years and didn´t have had to replace them. When I brake aggressively to have some drift...

Re: Motorcycle-Brakes on eBike?

what diameter rotors are you currently using?? you should use hydraulic four piston calipers with 9" or 10" rotors before trying to fit motorcycle brakes.. also ~70% of braking power comes from the front brake, so make sure that you are using mainly the front brake to take advantage of that.. also ...

Motorcycle-Brakes on eBike?

Has somone already tried to put some motorcycle brakes on his bike? The brake pads of my Tektro Dorado brake always go down like butter and I would love to use it more often without having to replace it so many times. PS: Regen is not an option, I would like to lock it up easy to for some dri...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Here is something interesting. What we see is the all new "Adaptto"(I don’t think that outer case is final) a creation from “Jeka” that gave us the very first MAX-e. The guy in the video is "Chupa" and makes the famous Chupapumps for the motors which are extremly popular in Russia now: https://endl...

Artur, how goes the process of starting to sell Sur Ron in EU? Did you manage to get the Sur Ron road legal as a 45 km/h moped or possible even A1? I remember you talked about this before christmas but since then I have not seen anything more. Let us know how things goes with the Sur Ron for EU. He...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

The law is about what the motors marked continious watt, or something like that. So do not think it will help if it get to court. Not about the controllers limit. But I still want it to feel a little more safe if I get stopped. I have the Mini controller so if your is only for Max too bad for me, t...

It is not like the bike will be legal with it, but still feels better to have that mode. Are you sure? I mean who could proove that its able to give more output then 250Watt? No one. So its legal, right? I used to have this firmware.. Im gonna check my mail for that wait a sec. Oh yeah, I...

Has anyone tested yet if a fan mounted on the swingarm, pointing at the hubsinks is accellerating the cooling-down process decisive? Yes, look at the post from Jestronix a little further down this page: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=48753&start=1925 Ah that seems to do a big...

Re: Sur-ron Adaptto

I received a battery from John Metric today. I giggled like a little school girl as I opened the package. Really. It is a 12 cell 5000mah 100c pack with a 200c peak. You can blow the whole loads in 15 seconds without the cells even heating up!!! 20kW continuous with 40kW bursts. 3.5 lbs of battery ...

Re: Motor axle is too thick for dropout, what should I do?

If you have such trouble fitting a hub motor why are you doing this as a bussiness? With "customers" like the one you described you won't make any money... I made this just once as I thought building an ebike kit is an easy job, but I didn´t expect that 2mm of steal could do so much trouble. Everyt...
