Hi Whiteponey.

As always, very impressive work especially battery pack and case.

Wish you can ride it soon!

Re: Is a DIY E-Skate worth it?

I'm pretty happy with torqueboards ESC, but as Vesc is going to be more and more use by community I strongly recommend to go for it, I know the bdlc tool can be frightened, but there is a lot of information about it and you won't regret the learning effort. For the setup if you want to commute every...

Re: Is a DIY E-Skate worth it?

Hi again, To be honest construct you own eboard is not that difficult if you take time to read things, i had no knowledge for anything in both longboard and electronics terms, and with time you can do this. Patience is the key. You can trully make a well good eboard for 600 bucks. As you are from Sp...

Re: Is a DIY E-Skate worth it?

Welcome, It depends a lot. Technicaly a DIY board will have better range, more top speed, in general, because corporation board are limited to the law of the countries in terms of max speed, and battery power for shipped by plane for exemple (wich is pretty restrictive). But you have to take a lot o...

Re: Input sought on light, clean build

Hi! I think you should go with a carving wood deck with a little amount of flex for a commuting setup. It will be more comfortable than a stiff and wood is more able to take shock on the long term. Also it is easier to setup enclosure on wood deck just because carbon don't like to be drilled. Just a...

Re: Electric Penny Board Help?

Hi! I just share my feeling, but I think add a motor to a penny board is a bad idea for two reasons: - the wheelbase is too short to fit the componants considering you loose at least 12cm for motormount clearance. - It is just not stable enough for speed. So it's hardly possible to convert a penny b...

Re: Low Budget Board Build Advice

Hi! From my own experience my advice for make a reliable and on a budget board. Save money on the deck, the wheels and the trucks, second hand for the trucks, no brand/clones for deck and wheels, but you can also go to a local skateshop for price estimation and compare to second hand with ship. Go o...

Re: Mountain Board Truck dimensions..-Alien Drive

How to explain with my bad English... Is there enough clearance between the truck adapter and the motor plate to have the motor wires facing the trucks. For example torqueboards recently update his motormount due to lack of space for the motorwires. Find some pictures to show on French forum, Okp bu...

Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!

I noticed the "mellow drive" board has an "endless ride" where you kick once and the cruise control automatically turns on to keep that low speed cruising. Is it currently possible to do something like this on the VESC This Is a really interesting function I would like to have! Didn't see at the mo...

Thanks Sleepy for your advices, yeah I will probably take a Venom Pack , got wristguards already and was dumb to not wear it for my ride even at low speed. The board looks great, and the setup with Vesc and hub Motor gonna be insane.

The only beside I see is the weight, how many does it reach fully assembled? (The deck is really thick on non cnc parts)

Re: Building an Electric Skateboard - im in too deep

Hi! you can do a very simple adapter by soldering a 4mm to an 8mm an without wires, apply you iron in the 8mm ans just down the 4mm while the iron is still liquid, I think it's the simple way to go if you won't/can't replace directly on the parts, and the banana/bullet type connector are easy to do ...

well the motors are a lot further away from the road than the usual set up of being under the deck..so i fell they are actually better protected there..the only issue i see is if i wheelies the deck..but at this length theirs no chance of that.. :D Ok, by the way the enclosure is freaking awesome w...

Very nice build, looks great.

Aren't you afraid about motor without protection as they are very low and on the back.

I remember that on evolve for example the protection take a lot of shock and the motor are setup similar way.

Hi! I will suggest you to take a look for a second hand evolve with pneumatic, for the requirement's and budget I personally think it is the way to go actually.
