Re: New build, BHT mid-drive "direct", custom frame

Have you looked at the OSET hub? Yes I'm gonna ring them in the morning and see what axle they use, I've got a 15mm axle after checking. It's for a kuberg freerider pro i gor second hand the original wheel was a 14,3.00 trials rim with a wierd sprocket that matches a disc brake hub but with 7 bolt ...

Re: New build, BHT mid-drive "direct", custom frame

Top man for replying, my hub is 145mm so that's not gonna work, I've got the most heavy duty hub available for the size but 12kw geared low just smashes the rear end to bits, new swing arm time I think.

Re: $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

So the second controller brain is bypassed and the signal from the first is fed to the gate driver of the second that amplifys the source signal and drive it's fets with each phase bridged to its corrosponding pair making a 36 fet controller 12 per phase that can get on for 10kw in a pair and not ge...

Re: Replacement Batteries For Lyric Scooter

Should be a bms on the pack that has a cut off aswell as the controller so if one fails there's a backup, dual safety to stop over discharge as it's crucial not to get below lvc. Both lvc should be set simular or the controller slightly lower for no nosence tripping 2.8v vs 3.0v etc for a lithuim, n...

Couldn't be a pain and ask you the dropout width of your rear ?
Sounds like I need a better hub ideally it's tapped out.

My missus disagree's with me on this one mind and say the 4 inch is a waste of time and won't ride anything under a 6.5 inch. 🤣

Re: New build, BHT mid-drive "direct", custom frame

Really like this bike looks a nice well positioned ride, how do you find the rear wheel bearing hold up? I only ask I got a kuberg it's uses 219 chain and a simular looking hub with either a 12 or 15mm axle if I remember correct and after 100 miles or so the wheel needs a rebuild bearings shot with ...

Re: Razor e300 ultra. Technical guide

A200s vesc does 16s reliable and can be sourced for £300 3 week back order and does 12kw max could be a good contender for blasting a small scooter about but there are few you mentioned that could have easy route to upgrade so they are interesting to say the least.

Re: Donut wheel scooter news

Hey, it's at least as tall as the brake rotors we use on our bikes.. 160mm rotor is about the limit lol, 203mm has barely any clearance a hefty bank to the left would foul it with the floor no doubt. Got a decent 6.5inch hub too but I put a 140mm rotor on that one and used a decent set of tyr...

Re: E-Bike XB-502 conversion project

The b series has a 2.0 variant so that gets sleeved and forged with a gsr head to get the 1000bhp, yeah that then is useless on a daily very little low end torque just deadly top end. The r is a machine and half stock wouldn't touch it to much myself seems a good drivers car from stock it's a modern...

Re: Boxer FS-2 Electric Conversion

Best of luck with the build nice basis to learn how it all works and with the Lipo you will have good power very little sag compared to a pack like above, to get 60 amp from a 18650 pack you need about 3- 4 high discharge cells depending on type but you end up around 10ah then with alot more added c...

Re: Boxer FS-2 Electric Conversion

5ah will get you around 8 miles say, to charge them I would get a parralel charge board and rc 6s charger then and a low voltage buzzer for the balance leads when In use bare minimum.

Re: E-Bike XB-502 conversion project

It's a nice car but for cash coin a b series honda civic vti is hard to beat but they launch like shit. The b series is a tuners dream chip tune the ecu yourself for $25 map it yourself and buy a ebay turbo kit the whole thing could be well under $5000 and have around the 450 bhp mark on stock inter...

Re: Boxer FS-2 Electric Conversion

No the controller puts out 60amp and the bms will only do 20amp, I bet those packs go bad in no time too where as the Lipo will give you years of riding you treat them decent.

Re: Donut wheel scooter news

This is as small a wheel I will ride 6.5 inch the 4 inch wheels are a minimum requirement I believe if there no suspension they provide good damping if inflated correct for weight the 4 inch is better in that regard with a taller side wall but less corner stability at speed. Re: Boxer FS-2 Electric Conversion

Plenty of power in that battery but beware minimum cell count for that controller is 10s/36v upto 20s/72v so two of those packs would be needed and you would be running 44.4v nominal 50.4v full pack voltage, you would have quite decent performance put of that then easily match the original 2 stroke ...

Re: Boxer FS-2 Electric Conversion

I've got a basic thumb throttle on one ride and a domino throttle on the other the domino feels nice very smooth but the price is high. For compact size lipo has good discharge power they sag little, got a 60amp load of say you would want a cell around 12ah and 10c something like a graphene cell fro...
