Hi Builders, we are proud to announce that from now on, the website http://www.vesc-project.com is online! It took a very long time time to get to this point, but we think it was worth to taking the time. The project now rests on solid foundations to build upon, easing things in future. What can you...

Oficial Trampa DIY Build Thread- Street & Urban Carver

Hi E-Skate addicts, this is the official TRAMPA DIY thread showing how we build our own boards for our personal private use. Basically I want to build a Urban/Street Carver with the battery box below the deck, 11S4P, single 118KV motor and VESC 6. I don't want the Battery Box to affect the flex and ...

Re: Trampa Street Carver Ultimate

The 90mm are not yet in Stock, but will hopefully arrive soon.
Wheels are comparable, but the spokes are a bit thicker.
Pulleys are available in 33 and 37 teeth. Mounts for all our boards and Caliber II trucks are available.

Re: Trampa Street Carver Ultimate

Hi DIY builders, everyone wants to know how our street carver rides. Its really fun, precise steering, incredible turns, quite stable at speed, and yes: It has flex, depending on the ply rating and your weight. Flexy decks do swallow some vibrations - it helps but does not eliminate 100% of them fee...

Re: Dual Drive single motor MTB

Hi Eratrace, Putting the motor in the center is not a good idea. It's exactly the spot where you want to have a lot of ground clearance. Try to put your pulley as close to the wheel as possible. The Reduction I can see is not enough. You would end up with a board super fast but not able to take a hi...

Wires

Wires inside the deck should be no Problem. We'll give it a try as soon as we make some new decks.

Thank Barney on the other elektro-skateboard forum.
The calculator also gives you an idea of battery cells you could use. High C-Rating is a must be.

Re: understanding the technical electrical side behind E-ska

Have a look here: Its a calculator, done by Barney. Most has been translated for english users. http://www.elektro-skateboard.de/wiki/wissenswertes/strom-spannung-reichweite-vii Best you can do is to go for high voltage, such as 10-12S. So buy a VESC. Now choose a realistic gear ratio (13 teeth on m...

Re: DIY Trampa long 35 E-MTB | Dual VESC |

A Temp sensor is a very good idea! You wouldn't be the first to melt the copper, ruin your magnets, epoxy coating etc. Now its spring, in summer on steep hills this diddy part might save your motors, money and the hassle to get them replaced. Another thing to increase the motor lifespan is a proper ...

Re: Trampa Flex Bridge

The Trampa Flex Bridge stiffens up your deck in the very center, where the bending momentum is is the greatest. If you mount the bridge directly onto the deck, your deck is roughly twice as thick in this area. If you ad some spacers, you increase the thickness further. On impacts the original deck i...

Re: Trampa E-MTB with Skatetrucks -Ultralight Build

Hi Jens, if you ad some spacers (could be a set of big washers) underneath the Flex bridges, you would ad a lot of stiffness. We never chopped them in half yet. I would put a thick bit of foam underneath the Battery. This will swallow some of the flex, so that the batteries don't get to much tension...

ultimate trucks

As Jens stated: Ultimate Trucks are not the choice for 85Kg riders + 10KG Board in a skate park. They are meant to be used by kite boarders on softer surfaces, lower tire pressure, landing their board with some kite support. Lets see how the 12 hollow perform. 10KG e-MTB setups are definitely intere...

Re: Trampa EMTB Chaindrive V2

The streetcarver is pretty badass looking, but I was more so wondering if I could put my Caliber trucks (for example) on one of their blank decks. It looks like the hole patterns might be different but it could be the angle of the pictures. Hi drmacgyver, the carveboard does not only look badass, i...

Re: Project E-Mountain Board

Hi Andre, you definitely want spring trucks. Any other truck system is not designed for such an application. Jens was quite right in saying that you don't want to invest your money , time and efforts, using a cheap quality platform. You will end up buying twice, and you will find out that your parts...

Nice one Benjamin! Can't wait to ride it in FOC mode. Hope weather gets better soon, so you can give it a proper spin in FOC mode.

To get a feeling how noisy it was before:
