Re: Hub motor Full throttle Issue Cogging/Torque

Make sure that the Battery current setting is the same on both controllers. Try like 30% or so and increase it gradually. By the way, why are you using a 48V battery if you have 72V controllers? The battery is limiting half of your power potential. The best solution to your problem is to get a 72V b...

Re: Greentime 48v regen efficiency

Of course it makes sense. In regen mode the efficiency is not as good as in forward. Lotta heat in the motor and too little amps flowing. What's so hard to understand about it? That is correct, but what does that have to do with anything? Read my answer again... "what you're actually looking f...

Re: Any Kelly controller experts out there?

You don't need the diodes or the contactors. Just make sure to precharge the capacitors with the resistor before connecting the battery to the controller. Iv'e had my battery connected to my controller for over 2 years straight with no issues, I just check the voltage once a while. I don't know if y...

The most positive terminal will only ne eight cells, You've marked it and that is always "14". Then "13" is the other side, so what you have marked as "11" is wrong, That should be "13". And you go from there.
Take a closer look at what you've written :|

Re: Trying to decode LCD signal from cheap brushless motor controller

Well what can you expect, the seller probably buys them from a wholesaler or whatever is on sale at the moment. Not to mention the language barrier. If you want seller support in regards to controllers you should look to Greentime or Quanshun on Aliexpress. https://evfittinggreentime.aliexpress.com/...

Re: BMS install

I hope you're not planing on pulling a lot of current through this pack because it has many bottlenecks, I wouldn't put more than a 500w Controller on it even with thicker nickel.

Hope this helps

Re: Trying to decode LCD signal from cheap brushless motor controller

That green wire is for old or more analog speedometers, its usually connected directly to a motor phase internally. Iv'e seen this discussed on here a few times, those kinds of posts aren't easy to find even with the search function. I recently saw this method still being used by those rickshaws tha...

sounds like you need to program the Kelly controller to draw less current as your battery or bms can't handle more than 50a

Re: Can these chargers be modded?

I'd start looking for a thin trace going from the current shunts. You may have to flip the pcb around.
The resistor to be changed is most likely on that small daughterboard sticking up.

Re: Greentime 48v regen efficiency

What you said makes zero sense, what you're actually looking for is a Controller that has a weaker regen setting, or a Motor that can handle more current.

Re: Bestech Hs-006 does not balance

Why would you want to balance them when they are discharged? The same thing will happen when you charge them again. I would suggest you stop discharging them right before the cell voltages start to stray, like 3.3V per cell most of the times. If you really want to balance your cells all the time you...

You have to multiply battery Current x Volts to get your power (Kw) not phase Current.

I put about 200mil of this stuff in my QS3k mid drive like 2-3 years ago without thinking much about it, maybe I'll open the motor this week and check if any damage occurred :!:

Re: 32Volts 8Amp Battery

From what I can tell your Battery meter isn't made for your battery voltage, and that's why it always shows full. It suddenly showing is empty because the BMS has cut all power. If the battery is a 10S it should charge all the way to 42V and be empty at 30V, but since the BMS allows it to go way bel...
