Does anyone have both the geared and chain reduced version of this drive to compare noise? I got the chain reduction cuz I figured it will be quieter.

They are the same in my opinion.
I guess most of the noice comes from the planetary gear reduction.

Re: Updated V1.1 Phaserunner software to test, with Virtual Electronic Freewheeling

Hey everyone, we're getting very close to having a V1.1 release of the Phaserunner software suite ready to release. First and foremost is something that I've alluded to on our GMAC product page which we're calling virtual electronic freewheeling. This causes the Phaserunner controller to inject a s...

Lekkie Bling Ring 40 Tooth BBSHD Package

I wonder if there is any forum member that is using the 40T Lekkie ring and if the package (when/if available) comes with the steel gear/bearing assembly already attached/pressed into the cover. I was able to find just the cover for sale separately but since i've never had any problems with my BBSHD...

Re: Grin Phase Runner / CA3 and BBSHD

Do you happen to know what i can take for another controller, instead of Phaserunner for a 72V battery and Bafang bbshd Mid Drive? Nucular controller. Sometimes if you try the autotune a few times it might work, regarding the Halls. There is a new Beta version of the PR Suite that could work better...

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

Is that the cyc motor with nucular? Yes it is a 12FET Nuke. Vasily stood by me all the way and helped me get it going like a champ. Here are some pics with the intended battery, 20S10P from EM3EV. A little big and bulky but who cares about proportions when i got a crotch rocket. With a little luck ...

That's a shame. A deal breaker even. I much prefer dedicated purpose built hardware as a UI than messing around with smartphones and apps and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

Is there any chance you'd ever reconsider this decision in the future?

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Let us know how Nucular controller works with x1 ` No luck so far. Firstly i am unable to input the motor parameter Kv. I was able to set the pole pairs but that was all. Also i am not sure if the temp sensor is the NTS10K, that has to be specified also. Autotune requires to set brakes cut off(whic...

Will do.
If i ever manage to configure the controller that is.

Supposedly the UPS truck should deliver the X1 today but the battery is still going to be travelling some time till it makes it to my neck of the woods.

150kV 7 pole pairs. Are you looking for a suitable controller? Thank you Andre! I am waiting on the X1 the 58V version to arrive soon since Vasili beat CYC to the punch with the 12FET Nuke, with the hope that the CYC 72V controller will arrive when available and also have in the mail a 20S battery ...

one month ago jon from cycmotor told me that my 72V controller will be shipped after 2-4 weeks. Time is over and I dont hear anything anymore. I must admit that i am loosing confidence. At least a 6Fet nucular is finally on its way. Hope it will arrive in 1-2 week Same here. Only i was quoted 2 mon...

Re: Direct-Drive conversion of the new GNG/cycmotor X1-pro 3000w

I read this thread, however much i like the left drive concept i think that lubricated chain and disc brake side by side is not good even with a disc shield.. Even the dry lubes fling off a little and some end up on the brake. at least 3d print a small chain guard or forget this concept if you like...

jbm, It's all good. I did try it for a little while and it worked as advertised. It arrived too late to mount it on the frame i had in mind. All my 3 bicycles are taken for now but i did try the little punk and it seemed to work just fine. At least it did started to spin. So life is good until the r...

Re: GNG X1-pro 3000w

Excerpt from my ongoing email exchange regarding the X1:

"Yes, the controller will be suitable to go up to 20s. 36-72V rated. If it is too fast, you can limit the rpm via our app. We are working hard to fine tune the controller performance. Thanks for your waiting!"

Jon
