Re: self learning on controller vs 3 position speed switch.

It should be the same for all 3 speed modes, you don't have to connect the self learning for each .
Maybe this is the way the controller reacts when you try to switch the modes under power.
I use the 3 speed switch with cycle analyst and when I use the throttle it cuts power for a moment

Yes , it's the speed sensor. I see it on many bafang motors without halls.

BBSHD controller on hub motor/hub controller cutting power

Hi, I read many topics here but I didn't see anyone trying to connect a BBSHD controller to a hub motor. I have a 750w bafang fat motor and I try 2 controllers but both are cutting power after a while when the battery is full. First I use a 25a 9fet kt controller and after I change to a 30a 12fet co...

Hi, how you weld the bolts? They hold or is the risk to get off from the tabs?

With 3 speed internal hub would be ok, but single speed its not so great. You have to think about this option

Re: Hall sensor pinout

Yes, I leave only the board with hall sensors, take the wires out from them and motor phases. I try first with a square wave 250w controller but it doesn't work well, too loud and jerky. I change to a sine wave controller and it works great but I use it on 48v and 30a and break a few teeth on a plas...

Re: Hall sensor pinout

Meanwhile i read about capacitors and they are linked to ground. On the board the capacitors are between signal and gnd. I will let them i guess they dont make any harm if shimano use them. Going to solder the cable, i hope this week i will test it. I am curious if i can use the torque sensor from t...

Re: Hall sensor pinout

Do you think its ok to use the board how is now?
Betwen each sensor signal and +v/gnd is a smd capacitor.
The capacitor is used usually betwen +v or gnd?
Should i remove them?
Thank you
