Re: Which Grease for CYC X1 Pro gen 2 Planetary gearbox?

I don’t have huge mileage on mine, maybe 1000 miles but no problems so far. I re-greased it as I think I had water ingress. It got a little more noisy but has since gone back to quiet with fresh grease.

Re: CYC X1 pro gen 2 settings

For anyone struggling I found this group on FB and they have some useful info and thoughts: https://m.facebook.com/groups/407576456456280/permalink/711620169385239/?_rdr also I have had more time to play with a better understanding of settings: I took the cadence threshold up to 100 and the starting...

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Ah Ok, must've been a later addition as don't recall a resistor in line on my tangent throttle. Cool. Thanks for your help.

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

You had to add a resistor to the throttle specifically for CA or would it also be needed for the stock CYC controller? Thanks

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Top stuff, well done for modding it and getting it how you want. I am still working on getting mine perfect, it's close. How did you get the domino connected: just rewire it to a JST connector? As for waterproofing it may be worth having a look at ACF50 waterproofer...aviation industry over here (UK...

Has anyone got any idea of which settings are the equivalent to up rates and down rates within the app? I am trying to get it to disengage faster when I cease pedalling or even slow down for gear changes and re engage faster when I come off coasting/have changed gear...at the moment there is lag whe...

Re: Which Grease for CYC X1 Pro gen 2 Planetary gearbox?

For anyone else in the future...CYC just confirmed this molykote br2 plus for the gen 2 also...or another like it...not 100% on what that bit means but molykote is good for both gens.

Thanks

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

An update The CYC team have without question been the most responsive and helpful customer service I have ever dealt with. They didn’t question me for proof of the error and sent me a new bottom bracket and torque sensor under warranty from HK to UK IN FOUR DAYS! So impressed I ordered more spare pa...

Re: Chargery c10325 went pop

More updates to keep this updated: I have had zero contact from Chargery again as above. I have mailed Cloudsto (the UK supplier) multiple times with zero replies. I have taken to facebook and Twitter to try and call out Cloudsto and Andy Kirby. Cloudsto repsonded on FB and said the emails must have...

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

I have just tried it without the torque sensor connected and I no longer have the running on it's own issue. Seems the torque sensor has some damage. Now the question is...can that cause the display to stop functioning correctly with the non responsive button presses and random headlight icon displa...

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Thanks,

I believe I have ruled out the throttle as the problem still exists without the throttle connected.

The brake cut offs are too shit to have on...they bounce about and lose connection over any bump fwiw. I can pull my power in a second if need be.

Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

I am afraid I don't know exactly which torque sensor I have...it is just the standard one that came with my gen 2 kit. I am trying to fix a new "interesting" problem I had at the weekend...the bike went full power and stuck on full power when i was trying to pass walkers in the woods...fan...
