Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I haven't got anywhere near the actual OSF, it's the Java aspect that has me defeated me. I followed the wiki as far as step 5 when after searching through the sub directories I found JavaConfigurator.jar, but clicking on it didn't lead me anywhere recognisable [to someone who has never done anythi...

I have recently bought a 48v 250w 15a one from RisunUK which has the older style PCB.

Re: Bafang Rear Hub Grinding and wrong speed

If the noise isn't electrical, then the grinding could be a loose internal speed magnet and also why the speed is out.
The speed magnet/s are usually located on the cover /lid.

Re: Small hub motor

Today was a glorious spring day pleasantly warm but very windy. I took some bee boxes to my out apiary. The G370 hub has developed an issue and I will have to open it to look, I think a speed magnet is out of place as one inute I was seeing correct mph reading then it shot up to 49.6mph and it inter...

Use the S09S sinewave models, either 22 or 25a ones. I buy from either Topbikekit or Aliexpress like Ofkeet seller.

Re: Fazua drives and battery

Not everyone needs to run around on a moped come motorbike, some of us actually use the bike for a bit of fitness/exercise and use lighter weight bikes with just the need for a bit more power for inclines so a small battery can fit the bill. I run on 12s2p of Hg2 in drinks bottle for approx. 30 mile...

Re: PAS Sensor KT-D12FL problem

It may just be a setting issue and the wrong parameter is selected for the PAS, If one has an lcd to enter in to the C settings then make a change with C1 to value 1 if it isn't already so.

TREgo is available in the EU/Germany cost about 900eu. A tilt trike front conversion of which there ae two options.
I know one option simply sits in a QR 9mm x 100mm drop out.

Sorry but I've no idea what a metal box controller is, or mosfets for that matter, can you put me right?
Rather then me try and explain in a long post, it is easier to post a link to how to.

Re: Kt-lcd3 won't read how fast

Does the hub have an internal speed sensor or ext ? If none set P2/0 and it will take a calculation form PAS if fitted.
For P1 you will likely need to set it to 46 for a DD hub.

Yep some cheap crappy PAS sensors work both ways they can vary a bit, the better dual hall sensors should solve the problem.

If you aren't getting motor drive via PAS, one may have the C1 value set incorrectly. It depends on the sensor type use.

Have you ever tested a normal metal box controller ? If so the process is the same.
Test the mosfets via the phase wires with no battery power and if they check out, test the motor halls with power via the 5v line.

I see copper scouring type pads are being utilised to fill some of the larger air voids where thermal pads may prove to be not so good, what are folks thoughts about rolling up and and mashing aluminium foil into shape to fit these larger air voids or even clean old aluminium take away trays/cartons ?

03 is motor hall issue, likely one or more have failed. One can try running the motor with hall wires disconnected at the controller or carry out tests to see which ones are defective. It gets expensive and frustrating willy nilly buying parts without knowing which to buy. First of all check there i...

Re: 72v Battery showing 80v on multimeter

Matt in plain English your battery if 20s/72v nominal will have a min voltage and a max voltage. A safe use min voltage will be approx. 64/66v and a max charge voltage will be 84v, the 72v is a nominal voltage which is approx. 50%. For better cell life/longevity charging only to about the 90% mark o...

Re: Parallel yes or no

I also parallel batteries and do so using different celled packs and capacity with no issue, just make sure SOC is as close as possible before connecting I aim for less then 0.2v. A simple led £2 volt metre wired to each pack allows me to keep an eye on the voltage every now and then.
