Re: GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

They have just received the freewheel 2.0 parts for the pressfit version It is now possible to order the new freewheel with pressfit bottom bracket And how this is a good thing? It will be PITA to remove it. I don't quite understand I have a mountain bike with a BB92 bottom bracket so I need to ord...

I wonder what the four bolt pattern is on that freewheel 2.0 and if it can be used on other mid-drive setups? How does it attach to the crank arms?
It's 104 BCD and yes it can be used that way. Unfortunately this freewheel is kind of wide and this can be a problem.

That is not a mid-drive and probably weighs a ton.
But it looks fast so why not. :D

https://www.trial-bikes.com/en/bike-trials-cranks/ Trials cranks will do what you want while not needing to cut off the spider. Actually it's been a while since I looked at trials cranks and now I see that they are available in BB30 with a Shimano splined interface to a freewheel. That opens up a l...

I would have begged you to help me out if it wasn't for the fact that I've already found something better. But you're right; it will just keep breaking even if I probably could get a few hours more time out of it. The Tangent kit was my way into ebiking and I've had a lot of fun on these kits alrea...

Re: FLIPSKY new 20s 100A tiny controller (vesc based)

I don't care about speed Everyone cares about speed sooner or later. Good transposon can take care of both speed and torque. So it happened I'm working on something like that for a bike. I build one before and the next one will be for more power. :thumb: That controller and a 5 kW outrunner should ...

Even if it is "just" 18 or 16S it would be perfect for my e-bike. There is nothing close for $99. It is actually very small.
Only 3 3/8 X 2 X 1 3/8.

Re: Dave's 80:1 RC mid drive kit build log

Yeah? Dave's actually responding again? I'd love to get my dead late gen Tangent back and running. Just an expensive paperweight right now. The freewheel's whats always messed up my units, they break and cannot be replaced, since they tend to cold weld to the output screw. In my final breakdown the...

Re: Dave's 80:1 RC mid drive kit build log

Not unheard of for the bearing to fail. Pretty sure it's off the shelf size... should be written on it somewhere. If not then someone here will know which it is or take calipers to it for internal and external diameters and race width.... Dave hasn't been responsive on here for some time. I hope he...

I'm in talks w/ Frey for a new bike, I'm from Europe so I wondered if any other Europeans have suggestions on what kind of shipping to use. Re: My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Installing a rack on the rear triangle is not a way to go. The only way is to have your load suspended. How much weight are you going to carry? Frey is so responsive on getting back to me. They suggested I order stateside too, as shipping it would be $250 alone. It would all depend, but only as nee...

Here is YouTube video how to set-up throttle.

CYC x1 torque sensor and freewheel + Cycle Analyst. This combo will let you run a torque sensor on most chain drive mid drive setups. And throttle. Check my sig for a couple builds if interested.
