Re: Mongoose Blackcomb
You probably not gonna like it, but I tell you that I use these Chinese VESCs at 75% max. I blew my first at set-up (it was not good right from the get go) and had my second one running for three years. Of course my build is much lower power so.. If comes to the dead man switch, I asked around and g...

Thank you for looking into it. I'm sure that Trampa people will do all they can to shut it down. They charge a lot for what they sell and they don't want competition. Once you make some progress, I can PayPal you some money. I'm only good with mechanics, so I'm not much help. :bigthumb: Why don't y...

[UK is not in EU and implemented the same regulations. OK, so which regulation exactly are you talking about. I would need to ask my shipping department, but I don't feel like going any deeper into that. It is what it is. Shipping to Europe is dead for my products. I'm in the US and manufacture my ...

Thanks for testing it.
I was wondering how good it can be. Obviously not great, but for $99 what can we expect

Re: How to secure the battery to the bike
I bought all my bikes used and cheap with plenty of mileage on them. People get tired of bikes before they get worn out For obvious reasons I almost exclusively use the silver Giant I build. Thousands of miles including a trip around Japan and no problems. I ride it on type of trails you would never...

Re: How to secure the battery to the bike
If your goal is to squeezy maximum performance (read speed) out of what you have and feel every pebble on the road with your ass go for it. I have an old criterium Cannondale road bike. It's very fast and it's hanging on the wall of my garage and collects dust for the last 20 years. There's a whole...

Re: How to secure the battery to the bike
there are lots of people that are not motorized that ride with leg power faster then 20mph on rigid road bicycles, lance can do 7w/kg and he stated when power meters came out 500w for a half hour decades ago was common for short day races Anything over 20 mph full suspension is the only way to go. ...

Re: How to secure the battery to the bike
Anything over 20 mph full suspension is the only way to go. I recommend a hobby motor and VESC. You can now push a small motor up to 5 kW. They have just received the freewheel 2.0 parts for the pressfit version It is now possible to order the new freewheel with pressfit bottom bracket And how this is a good thing? It will be PITA to remove it. I don't quite understand I have a mountain bike with a BB92 bottom bracket so I need to ord...

https://www.trial-bikes.com/en/bike-trials-cranks/ Trials cranks will do what you want while not needing to cut off the spider. Actually it's been a while since I looked at trials cranks and now I see that they are available in BB30 with a Shimano splined interface to a freewheel. That opens up a l...

I would have begged you to help me out if it wasn't for the fact that I've already found something better. But you're right; it will just keep breaking even if I probably could get a few hours more time out of it. The Tangent kit was my way into ebiking and I've had a lot of fun on these kits alrea...

Re: FLIPSKY new 20s 100A tiny controller (vesc based)
I don't care about speed Everyone cares about speed sooner or later. Good transposon can take care of both speed and torque. So it happened I'm working on something like that for a bike. I build one before and the next one will be for more power. :thumb: That controller and a 5 kW outrunner should ...

Even if it is "just" 18 or 16S it would be perfect for my e-bike. There is nothing close for $99. It is actually very small.
Only 3 3/8 X 2 X 1 3/8.
