Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

Hi RollingGecko, I've tried connected to both the Nano V3 and Mega (not at the same time). I re-downloaded all the files from your github with the rf library. Get it to run DEBUG mode again by uncommenting the //define DEBUG in the Config.h This is the following print out in the Serial Monitor. Ever...

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

Hi all, I've been using my electric longboard for quite awhile now and want to fiddle with it. I'm controlling my longboard on a PPM tx/rx. I am looking into having some form of telemetry from the VESC. my VESC is 4.10 and running the latest 3.33 firmware. I've tried wiring the VESC Tx to arduino na...

Re: Building 1st E-longboard

ok, i will just stick with lipo in that case.

i have a couple of 8" wheels from my old manual scooter and wondering if i can keep the same drivetrain on the longboard if i change the longboard wheels to the scooter wheels.

Re: Building 1st E-longboard

If I were to use 18650 li-ion cells to make my battery pack.

Each cell is 5000mah. I connect 10 cells in series in 1 pack and then parallel them into 2 packs, how much continuous Amps can it give out? Would appreciate if i have a formula or calculator that I could use to calculate.

Re: Building 1st E-longboard

single 6374 motor with 200+kv on 8s is what you recommend? if i decide to go for dual 6355, also at 200+kv? i know lower kV gives more torque but loses out in top speed Correct me if i am wrong, but the VESC that you guys are talking about, i suppose is a self-made ESC? if yes, the only closest thin...

Building 1st E-longboard

Hi all, this is my first posting here and i came about this forum while searching for more information about electric longboards. I do not mind a single motor longboard as long as it is able to accelerate decently for a dude that weights 210lbs(110kg). as stated below are my expectations and questio...
