Re: Electric standup jetski build
Worked with the ElectroBrapp guys yesterday and got the controller settings dialed in. 6500 rpms, instant power, (in the video it had soft start) and will hit the motors full power of 33ft\lbs of torque. If the motor can reach 6500rpms the impeller will be spinning around 9100rpms. First video I had...

Are you on windows? If you search the thread there are different tips and solutions to get past that message. Yes I'm using Windows 10. I've searched through this entire thread and so far none of the info has helped me solve the problem. It seems that the USB/Serial side of the USB to CAN adapter i...

Re: Electric standup jetski build
Ive made this mistake, its only fixed by making both sides sprockets larger in diameter is the way to make your chain more quiet. The link below shows the effect of tooth count vs chain vibration. It looks like you have room to package 2x the number of teeth at least, doing that will knock out most...

Re: Electric standup jetski build
Motor sprocket 14T Driveshaft sprocket 10T (Did this so I could adjust rpm/torque with sprockets) Even drive / Even driven.... sprockets... requires a chain with an ODD number of links or.... else your wear will be 2x faster, or even more. Just like if you have an even number of links, a even drivi...

Going to get some graphite into the rollers on the chain. Hopefully reduce the heat and noise some. Also working on figuring out the best way to attatch a coupler to the motor splines.

Re: Electric jetski build
Interesting project! Yes, I would second the post above - minimal gains in power or 'per charge' battery life from the 4.2V charge, and will most likely shorten the overall life of the battery by some amount. If you absolutely want to try it, there are likely some trim pots in your charger to contr...

Also this shrink wrap fits perfect over these batteries. And will cover all your wires.
Comes with enough to do a few of them too.

Re: Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers
Has anyone ever found documentation or had success coding their own interface to a votol controller? I’d like to get readings from my EM-150’s on something smaller than a laptop. I’m able to with the Daly BMS and want to build some safety features and logging in to my build. I don’t care if it’s ar...

Re: Portable snow tank for towing skiers
Looks great! For the wires I tucked them all down one side on mine using each wires to hold down the wire behind it. . Also wait until you try and play with the votol software configuration. It's a pain in the arse. but you can adjust the throttle input voltages. https://www.endless-sphere.com/forum...

Figured out the cause of my motor wanting to jump off the bench.. Checking the HDC box. I have tried setting it from 4000-7000 and everything in between but still wants to jump off the bench. Keeping the box unchecked the motor spins up smooth but goes to 7k+ rpms. video is with HDC checked: pMViWH0...
