Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Is there any important functionality in the CAv3 that is not already available with the Nucular controllers' software? I'm looking for something smaller with the same or similar functions as the CAv3. The nucular is big and I'm my opinion not that much of an asthetic improvement over the CA. Someth...

Will there ever be a smaller/more asthetic version of the CA?

The one with the sensor will not work with the CA3 but at least the wire is in the shaft.
so what could we use to show a readout of the temperature instead? im looking for a cheap and easy option. I have a leafmotor with the temp sensor installed by leaf.

Re: Good quality throttle

Good things have been said about the grin half twist ones, and they are quite stealth too. https://www.ebikes.ca/shop/electric-bicycle-parts/throttles.html If you're talking about the slim half twist, then I have gone through 3 of them and they last a max of 3 months before the spring is shot. They...

this is the cyc X1 which would have been quite obvious to you if you had read the thread title.
The thread title says gng/cycmotor. So it has both in the title.

I'm a bit confused. Is the gng and cyc the same motor? The gng looks like a cyclone, while the cyc looks a bit smaller

Re: Christiania Bike conversion

I know this thread is quite old. I did a conversion of an aluminium Christiania bike with the kit from boxbike above (BEWO 36v 350w). I’ve done over 2.000 happy km on the bike, but now the bearings inside the mid drive hub is roasted. It seems like the bbs02 hub is more reliable, but seems impossib...

I would say that is more than enough for only a 1000w hub, but it never hurts to be thick. I would, however, put one on each side though like you say.

Not sure about my pr V2... First off, in running a measly 14s battery so I'm not expecting high speeds, but it is capable of 60A cont. So I was hoping for some torque, but I'm either completely off in my settings or my pr is faulty. I've tried to raise everything to the max, but according to my CA ...

I lowered mine .0 and do the regen thru holding brakes and twisting throttle for proportional , works great, What is your max regen phase current set? And what does max regen batt current mean? Re: Compact Field Oriented Controller, ASI + Grin, limited run

What is your max Regen Battery set to? And is the batter fully charged? The regen works once the battery voltage drops a bit from full in my experience. Oops, didn't realise that pop-up was there, but it's set at 6v (I think). I actually just reloaded the default settings, did an auto tune and now ...

Re: Compact Field Oriented Controller, ASI + Grin, limited run

i have a cav3.12 and a phaserunner v2. i am trying to get the regen to work. I have both the throttle and ebrake sensor "reed switch" connected directly to the CA. The throttle works great.... The regen, not so much. on the CA, I have the throttle out set to 0.50-0.00v and the throttle in says 0.86v...

That is a 9C or a 9C clone which can be a pretty fast motor and be used at fairly high voltage. Where are you located? If you were near me I would be happy to bring a battery and controller to test it for you. I’m in Arizona. I doubt you want to take him a battery and controller since his profile s...
