I know what you mean.
I loved motorbike, even the sound, but now I find it annoying...they are too heavy and thinking all the time in switching gears is tiring.

And my ebike is only a factory 250w Lapierre or a bbs02 powered specialized...

It should not be that. A 48v battery has a maximum voltage of 54 volts fully charged. So, unless this is a 36v motor, which will accept a maximum voltage of 42v, the reason for not working will be another.

I think specialized big hit 2006 is a great frame to eletrification.
The squared design makes a dolphin batery under the down tube look aceptable

I currently have a geared hub motor on an enduro bike. As I use mostly offroad so I will buy a mid drive.
