Re: Project Dirt Cyclone / DH frame / 52V Li-ion

If you mean the small brown weld spot that prevents the cover ring of the freewheel from loosening that seems "normal" as a solution for a problem some customers might have had. Great build ingredients, I'm going to follow this. Good luck and enjoy! Yes I was taking about this weld spot. Thanks for...

Re: new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Kachou, You say, "preparing for my first " ...cyclone build ... 'that seemed interesting and reliable'. This ebike building is not like Philosophy where we THINK we can determine all that is relevant apriori. I am quite sure if Gman or I had done a summary it would be somewhat different than yours ...

@oldskoolhead : Thanks a lot for your help. I am back on this project! @Luis / Soares : Your build is still a bright example for me. I just got married 3 weekes ago and ended up building a simple BBS02 wedding bike. I should make a topic on this, but here is a picture. https://preview.ibb.co/k5seZ9/...

Maybe, if I have a shop or, access to one, then maybe I give it a try. Im building my bike, in my living room...so, no mess. ...

Re: E-bike build + downhill frame + Mxus hub motor + lipo

Amazing job! very inspiring.

Two quick questions for you soaresdacosta:

1. What is the size of the battery box? (to get an idea of what can come into the frame)

2. Does the Berg Viper comes in different sizes? I could only find tamanho M (is it a L?)

Thanks!

Re: noob questions for commuting/kid hauling/cargo bike

Happy owner of a BBSHD + 48V/12ah battery here
rock solid setup, but do not plan on pedaling too, the motor spins way too fast for your pedaling cadence (unless climbing loaded with your children)
Enjoy!

BBSHD PAS cadence at 48V?

Dear fellow ebikers, I am enjoying an awesome BBSHD / 48V setup that I built with your help (see here: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=80352 ) I am now trying to perfect the beast, with the same objective: that my wife can climb Alpine passes at low speeds (around 9km/h) with ...

Re: Alpine passes at low speed with Mid-drive ?

Der fellow ebikers, Your comments have been more than helpful. I ordered a BBSHD, a 30 tooth chainring, a 48V 13a shark battery and started installing this on my mountain bike. Approx €1100 (without the bike). The set up is temporary, I just wanted to try the beast. Needless to say I'm having fun wi...

Alpine passes at low speed with Mid-drive ?

Dear fellow cyclists, I am an experienced cyclist, but completely new in the ebike market. I have been eagerly reading this forum and I cannot wait to build my first ebike :D Objectives: I often go and ride long climbs, passes in the French Pyrénées. They are usually 10 to 16 km long, averaging 6 to...
