I have a mini remote hand controller. When I switch the hand controller off the VESC lights up and starts turning the motor. :? all by itself. Just wanted to know what I'm doing wrong as this surely can't be right. While I'm here the sensitivity of the trigger is so fine with accelertion and braking...

GOT IT WORKING :D

I had to download fw v2.15 then v2.16 then v2.18. The bldc tool was not letting me go from v2.15 which was on the VESC straight to v2.18.

I think my problem is opposite to what you say...the firmware on the BLDC tool that I have downloaded is the latest fw 2.18 and I need to first find a 2.15 BLDC tool...then I can upload the latest fw to that once I am in.

Hi, I am about to order the 2 x 680 ohm resistors needed for the Badwolf v2 hand controller. Does it matter what the wattage is or can I use any 680 ohm resistor? I've seen them ranging from 0.5W all the way to 2W.
