Re: new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Any word on who's selling better motor mounts for the 3000 at the moment? Google brings me threads here for ones no longer sold, Luna doesn't have any in (and don't reply to questions about it)... I used to think the standard mounts were fine, got used to seeing them twist a little bit. But I've be...

I have the xioxing bluetooth BMS from this thread not the one with the lcd. I am using the bluetooh APP. unfortunately I do not have a balance charger, I have left it 24 hours and done another charge cycle.. so it seems to be balancing as now the gap from the highest to lowest cell has closed from :...

Also how long should it take to balance ? so it does 50ma balance current but it pulses this every 5 seconds. I have a 10ah 36v battery I am trying to balance, left it over night and it barely changed ? the difference is only around 200millivolts ? i.e max cell was 3.998 and the weakest was 3.789v h...

Yes, I have tried the HD mounts and they suck balls in comparison. Too much flex from that wimpy thing on the non-drive side! does anyone know how to get a cav3 to turn on/off with the throttle on off switch on an ebike that use switched 5v ? normally these switches are at pack voltage and easy to tap into them ! Does the cav3 have a 5v enable on /off line ? or can i get the input instead of shunt from the 5v switch ? or d...

where is the best place to put a switch to disable this BMS from long term storage, is the B- negative the best place to stop parasitic drain ? it does not draw anything from the balance leads does it ? Re: bluetooth BMS?

If you connect the controller to "P-", the BMS cannot cut off if your pack gets overcharged by using regen (think of a fully charged battery and you riding downhill using regen all the time) . Thats the downside. The positive thing about connecting the controller to "P-" is you can draw a bit more ...

At 72v what is the full throttle no load current you get on the c3000w with the motor alone and also with the gearbox added ? also lastly maybe with the back chain connected to the bike ? just want to see how it compares to the 6kw tangent astro as that does 350w full throttle no load with no bike c...

Re: Dave's 80:1 RC mid drive kit build log

I just ran a bunch of these tests with different lubricants. I have a 3turn 3220, a few hundred miles on it (30+ hrs). The CA is reading ~130W for the motor alone, no gearbox, just sitting in my hand (brand new is about 70W IIRC). With the Nabtesco RE0 grease, a good loading of it (25mL+), at 55V (...

Nice build, but yeah as pointed out above that is a huge loss of ground clearance under the bike ?
