Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Hi Cowardlyduck Being one of those people (with 3 bikes with Adaptto controllers) I'm very interested in an alternative with the same feature set. My absolute number 1 feature is the password protected ECO mode. Do you know of any alternatives that has this feature? Thanks! Not exactly, but... Nucu...

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

Will there be a password protected ECO mode with forced PAS or equivalent like Adaptto had?

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I tried connecting a PAS to my Mini-E for the first time today. Pretty sure the PAS is soldered correctly. (Red + | Yellow - | Blue signal)

I'm getting the HALLS! error message when starting the controller with the PAS connected and the throttle won't respond. Has anyone experienced this?

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

PAS is simple - so 'HALL" type should work.. But it's also shit. If you have an ADAPTTO - throttle control in torque mode is the only way to go. Forget pas. Thanks :) And yeah, PAS sucks... I'm only mounting it to have it available in ECO-mode with the password locked firmware. Perfect cop solution...

Will any "ebay PAS system" work with Adaptto or do I need to look for something specific?

Recommendations?

Has anyone tested the password protected firmware yet?

I'm a little nervous to test it since fixing a bricked Adaptto is not on my todo list for this summer ;)

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Yeah, it would feel best to get this firmware from Adaptto to be sure it will work on my specific Mini-E. For the cops... Yeah I see the point, but I see no need to be an asshole about it ;) Should they even test the buttons and find a pw protected option my answer would be that it came like this fr...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Ohh, only Max-E... Do you know if it exists for Mini-E? And yeah... it will vary from country to country. Where I ride (Norway) you have to have a PAS and no throttle. But, it's a big difference to get busted with a 250w bike with throttle than to be busted with a 4kw bike with throttle. Here, the 2...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I want to start using a password to leave eco-mode. Anyone have the latest firmware for this? I have the Mini version. Re: Any good and simple "cop button" solutions?

Yeah... It's probably a little different from place to place. After over 1000 miles on the bike I've still not been pulled over, but... The way it works here, it's much more important to beat the rap than to not take the ride. I don't care about loosing a few hours of arguing etc if I manage to get ...

Any good and simple "cop button" solutions?

Has any of you come up with a simple solution for capping the bike to legal levels in case of running into cops? I'm using an Adaptto setup and it would have been great to be able to have it start up locked to "eco" mode. I don't think the software allows this, but... would have been great ;) If you...

Re: Just making sure. Is that motor phase /sensor combo issu

I'm experiencing an issue that is kinda similar to this. In my case it's more subtle than on your video, but the symptom is the same. Every 1 turn of the wheel I get a little "jerk/cut-off" from the motor. If you listen to the video below with speakers/headset that can play low frequencies, you'll h...

Re: How to prevent punctures once and for all!

I'll throw in my experience here... 27,5" / 2.1 wheels on a MTB with a 4kw rear hub DD motor. I usually ride on streets and forest trails (20-50 km/h) I started off with around 40 PSI which felt good and gave good contact in trails etc. The first 2000 km of riding gave me 4-5 punctures, all of them ...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

My motor is jerky, (I think it is called.) Anyone know why? See video below. It is adaptto mini and Leaf 1500W motor. It is really jerky on low speed and when you speed up it keeps doing so but fades away so in the end you don't notice it. And when riding for real you hardly notice it at the beginn...

Best replacement for Adaptto?

So... I'm running a complete Adaptto setup with a Mini-E, coil/charger and Adaptto BMS. I love this setup for everything it's worth, but since I ride a lot and cannot live without the bike I'm also looking for a replacement system due to uncertainties with Adaptto's customer care, slow replies/repai...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I have a Mini-E and a 1500w leafbike rear hub motor. Running fine for 400km+ now... However, recently I've noticed a kind of jolt following the wheel revolutions when applying any percentage of throttle. Not sure if it's a dip or a peak, but it only presents itself when applying throttle. Same thing...

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

Does anyone know what exact type of threads this motor uses on the largest axel side? (Close to M12, but I think they have an unusual pitch) The threads on that side has given up on me, so I need to refresh them... just not sure exactly what kind of threads they are. (Leafbike said M12 * 1,1 in an e...
