Re: 3D printed 400mm EDF project

Well I'll reply back. This is awesome. great job.
Could you put into the text the performance you have seen so far?
It's harder for me to tease out the values on the gauges at work with no headphones.

I am not sure if it is open to the public, but I'll be there with my cycling trainer. https://www.crownroller.com/

Re: Kelly vs Sabvoton Controller review 2017

Did the Sabvoton allow you better initial torque control/acceleration? I know I had issues on my kelly rejecting my values for how long it would take before allowing full current. for example I would specify from 0A to full current rating in 0.1s but it would ignore that and go to a default value th...

Re: Nissan Leaf inverter IGBT driver board pinout?

most of the integrated IGBT driving chips on the board are probably easy enough to trace.
Do you know the part number of the drivers? there are probably 3 of them, a boost circuit to create +/- 15v.
If you get me the part number i'll give em a lookup.

I was told by fany that below a certain amount the value is ignored by the firmware. Atleast that was true on my KLS96601-8080I
Overall the controller was a breeze to setup though.

Re: Hi power high voltage inverter build for nissan leaf mot

Luke, you would ditch all Leaf systems in doing that right...? Including the bms which I think limits to around 275A? I want to do the same it just sounds like a huge PITA. Please try! I also was planning on swapping the leaf IGBTs and swapping the current sensors also to make it think it wa...

Re: I'm writing an app for Kelly KLS

well decompiling yielded a crazy complex app I could not recompile again without a hundred or so errors.
Looks like it is back to writing something from scratch in java. We shall see how much motivation I have this winter with other projects going on.

Re: I'm writing an app for Kelly KLS

Well I was able to communicate with the kelly over bluetooth and see voltage, phase amps, temperatures etc. I was thinking that if you use the extra analog brake regen input as an analog signal you could probably attach a current sensor to the battery and get battery current draw. I have been going ...

Re: New Kelly FOC controller series

No real torque throttle, there is some ability to adjust the speed throttle curve but not much. I have been getting used to it though. I have been able to draw 400+ battery amps with my 600A controller but it is NOT instant. no burnouts, no wheelies, firmware crippled ramp rates even though the cont...

Re: Question: development of a 3 phase BLDC motor controller

There are a few options i can think of. Easiest is get a hobby or ebike BLDC controller and rip off the IC and run jumpers to the mosfets on that. then you only have a small number of wires and you can test your microcontroller easy. TI has a bunch of power boards for insta spin you could tap into. ...

I plan to start working on a better android app display for my KLS96601-8080I controller.(maybe it will work for others) There was some previous work done that will get me started. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=71671#p1089258 Anyone with more info on the communication pro...

Re: QS MOTOR, QSMOTOR 0.5-16kW Electric Wheel Hub Motors

So how does the APT AE96600 96V 8kw controller compare to a Kelly KLS96601-8080I,24V-96V,600A,Sinusoidal BLDC Motor Controller? Configuration software? spec sheets? Bluetooth? Continues current at 96VDC? Max Current? for how long? I am interested in one for an emotorycle project. Are there internal ...
