Any regular crank bolt fits. Search Ebay, its .99cents free shipping. With some plumbing tapes on the thread when you put it in will not come off.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

With all the calculations, it still boils down to how strong your legs are and wheel size since this motor only assist and cuts out at certain rpm. For speed, I might put it on my 29 hardtail, she should be flying right along with those road bikers  Its raining on/off all day here at NC coast,...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Nice setup Eye! How fast can you go ? Thanks to RT with the posting on Vcld5 parameter settings, I was able to max everything. But even with lowest gear and pedalling I could only go up to 25mph on 26" wheel- motor was still assisting upward to 35mph from the settings. I got a 27.5" wheel to test ne...

Re: BBSHD - Fatty full suspension

It is nice, clean, and simple. With the hydration battery pack, no one even suspect its electric. I pedal along on just 2 (out of 5) setting and on 32T rear going along 10-15mph on the beach. Getting a 30T chainring to replace the oem 42T to reduce stress on motor, increase motor effeciency/torque. ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Rt, when I was ghetto rigging the throttle none of the combination activated the motor. Kinda glad I did that before wasting $20 for a throttle. Maybe it has to do with programming to make it work?

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I thought the housing was metal ? I tapped on it with my finger and it felt metallic/aluminum.
Not sure if that was making the noise, but horizontal works.

Norton, its cool. Water under the bridge and evap.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Umm, surely the location position of the motor will have absolutely no bearing on its output, as the sensor rotates with the crank and is totally dependent on the strain between the crank and internal gearing, at any position of the rotation or of the vertical position of the bike. Anyone find a ch...

My newest fatty full suspension mainly on trail and beach riding. Chinese Aluminum frame (Aliexpress), front spring oil 100mm travel shocks (not on par with rockshox bluto but 1/4th the price), rear rockshox air, set of used rim (ebay) 100mm on 4.5" Vee, 750w BBSHD, 8px14s LGH2 in a backpack. Re: 24 Volt Middrive- Don't Bother!!!

I think I saw this same motor on Ebay auction not long ago. I was thinking of grabbing it but the 24v also stop me from buying. Unless its 24vx50A controller, the torque must be horrendous. Better off get a motor from an electric scooter for a cheapy mid drive conversion.

this whole forum is full of MacGyvers, if you arent one you shouldnt be here bud. Just buy a premanufactured bike and be happy like the rest of the other crowd. Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Its the LgH2 batteries, 20A continuous discharge, 4p10s. Definitely not the battery, but im thinking it could be the positioning of the motor that couldve robbed some torque. Motor is mounted on a full suspension frame so I couldnt get the rear clamp down so the motor lean forward against the frame....

Thanks Rt for the images of the vlcd5 display. I have an exact same one. There are 3 ports on there and prob 2 brakes and 1 throttle. Re: Undocumented lead coming out of my new BBS02

I recently bought a new Luna DPC-14 color display (awesome upgrade, btw) and it displays a headlight function when changing to night scene. My older controller doesn’t support it but would be a cool thing. My totally blind guess is that it’s probably good for 500-1000mA or USB type loads? Might use...

Hows your rear air suspension holding up?
Last year I used a rockshox but it was too much bike to handle constantly bottom out. Coil/oil seems to work better this year.

Wsup Rob! Haven't checked your build thread in a while. Glad to hear the bike is still a beast. As for the question, if you still haven't figured it out, you can use CAv3 to gave 3 speed modes/switches to control the Amp draw. Or some controllers have that option to install 3 speed switches. I got o...

Re: Mini Cyclone on carbon full suspension

Which carbon frame did you use ? That looks like a generic full suspension on Ebay going for $899.
Fat bike full suspension frame is crazily expensive for some weird reasons over mtn bike.
