Re: Advice for 36v Pack wanted

I don't think its out of balance; I think its probably past its prime with many a cycle on it. It is probably from 2009. I guess it could be that it has low cells, but it is pretty old.

True, that there is really not much to lose by leaving it charging in an attempt to balance for a few days.

Advice for 36v Pack wanted

This 36v lithium ion pack looks to be a 10s6p, and rests at 38.6v when fully charged. I think it should be at at least 41v, so its a little tired. I know there are some options to consider like just replacing the whole thing for like $250. What good options are there for replacing the cells in this ...

Re: Need help identifying this plug for controller to batter

E bike kit has that connector on the kits, so you can get the pigtail to put on the battery there. But green bike should have them,, even if not shown on the website. surely by now places like bms battery have that plug? I'm not sure. I'd just chop it off,, since I put andersons on all my batteries...

Improved photo.

I found this drawing online, and the dimensions seem to match, but there is not much info on how to order one. http://www.amphenolltw.com/2012download ... LL6AXX.pdf

Re: Battery cooling idea - heatsink tape and heatsink

Add liquid cooling, a radiator, a fan and possibly a heat-exchanger for your all-season battery solution 8) Or strap a couple peltiers to them :) turns out there's a patent for it :) ancillary systems like this are to parasitic and overly complex but have a kool factor :) bad pun :) http://www.goog...

Need help identifying this plug for controller to battery

This male 2 pin plug goes to a 36v mini controller for what I think is a greenbike kit. I might try to find the female that it plugs in to.

Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Sorry about the bad quality.

32650 cell holders needed

Does anybody here know where to find holders for 32650 cells? They are close to D battery size.

I guess if theres not a commercial product out there its 3D printer time.

Re: Controller runs rough once warm...help?!

Swapping the controller would be a good start. For a problem as intermittent as yours, you may have to swap a few things. Its not the most professional approach, but it could narrow things down. When components heat up it can cause any tiny breaks in the circuit path to expand into larger ones. Ther...

Regen braking and BMS

If regen braking on an bike controller sends power into the load side of your battery pack's BMS how does it deal with the incoming power? I mean if the BMS has a whole side dedicated to charging the battery with incoming current, and a load side dedicated to outgoing current and cutoff, how does th...

Re: Can you identify this 36v 500w controller?

It just has a sticker on one end with ZHZ36v500w printed on it. It may be a Sunwin brand, but I'm not sure.

I thought maybe it would resemble a common one on the market.

Can you identify this 36v 500w controller?

Does anyone know what the pin outs are on this controller? It came bundled with a 500w 36v rear hub kit. I would just like to know where the regenerative braking option points are. . http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b159/watchdawg2005/Mobile%20Uploads/tmp_19589-20160717_144110731601509.jpg http://i...
