Awesome work!!
Hey, is there any way the BluOSec app can be switched to a landscape layout rather than portrait?
Thanks for everything

Re: Custom Bosch / Yamaha battery

If you bypass the discharge on your Yamaha battery pcb (cut the thick red/black wires going to the board from the discharge port, and solder them to the main leads of the pack, which are oval shaped solder pads on each end, the one closest to the port is positive) if you do this you won't be restri...

BMS charging and outside the norm wiring ideas

Hello peeps, I have a few questions regarding how bms's work and if these wiring scenarios care possible, and I hope someone is able to answer.. I have 2x small cheap 10S bms's and I was hoping to daisy chain them together and use on one of my 14s packs. I was thinking of running them both as balanc...

Re: Running 2 or more BMS in series

If you can use the balance connections and B- only on the BMS, then daisy chaining BMS's is quite doable. Ignore the mosfets and don't use P- or C- at all. Now the BMS's are just balance boards. As long as you can live without being able to shut down the BMS (turn off the mosfets), this is a very w...

Re: Yamaha Pw custom controller + battery

I've done it, seems to work pretty well on the Haibike sduro. Once I removed the controller I had to bypass the discharge port on the bms for it to run. The wiring configuration for the 1500W KT controller is to swap the Y and G phases, and with the Grinfineon 35A controller, either swap the G and B...

Re: Custom Bosch / Yamaha battery

(the cells will still get balanced when charging, and still be protected from low voltage damage from the controllers operating range)

Anyone know the wiring of a Yamaha pw series motor?

I have the Yamaha motor bypassing the internal controller and out to my external one, everything seems fine except I don't have pas. Was looking into different add-ons available, and when I look into torque sensors the price can be pretty high. This motor already has one but I can't figure out how t...

Re: Need help first build with kt-lcd3

If the growling you speak of feels like your whole frame is rumbling and buzzing each time you open the throttle in my experience its been an issue with the blades of the anderson phase plugs not maintaining a locked connection but instead having the blades touch but rattle on top of each other. I k...

Re: Bluetooth BMS wiring and features

Static balancing balances while your battery is idle. Shifting voltages from one cell to another. In this mode my first cell temporarily goes lower than the rest but normal when completed or when I turn the balancing off (I just set my balance start voltage high to turn it on/off) I'm assuming it ne...

Re: Bluetooth BMS wiring and features

I did some research and learned that open circuit balance means it balances to the cells open circuit voltage (no load) values. and closed circuit would be to balance to the cell voltage readings under load/throttle, like after the voltage drop. Thanks I'll check out that PC app. I'm hoping with it ...

Bluetooth BMS wiring and features

There are some features of this unit that I'm a bit unfamiliar with, hopefully someone can chime in and shed some light..mainly, Open balance - open or closed (does this mean whether or not I'm balancing while discharging the battery?) Static or charge balance - I'm assuming balancing while idle, or...

Strange behavior during charging

Hello fellow ebike enthusiasts, A question .. hopefully someone has an idea what is happening? When I'm bulk charging my pack, (lifepo4 15s prismatic) the first cell in series dips to 0V red, and back to 3.2X, then back and forth, while flashing that it is balancing I think as well. (I'm monitoring ...

Interesting thread. After reading this I've added a light coat of solder to my grin 25a shunt. My question is, how would I determine my new shunt value to configure my CA with for accurate readings?
Thanks

If you just press the button twice it will display the voltage.
Anyone know if the time of day can be set/shown with it?

Calibrating the battery meter guage

Hello, and thanks for this informative information. One thing I was curious about, was the settings for 'real-time voltage monitoring' etc.. I was wondering how I can setup my display's battery meter, to show 0% at 40V, and be relative in between. Because as of now, it just shows full up until my LV...
