Re: Boost 110v AC to 120v AC or slightly more

I am not a welding expert but a 110V welder seems a little dinky to me. Do you have 220V?. Get a real welder. See lots for sale. Also make sure grounds are all good. Wire between circuit breaker and welder should be proper gauge.

Re: Retirement Time

Make a compost bin for the leaves. I just made a nice big compost bin. Got 5 or 6 nice heavy oak pallets. Each pallet about 30 x 30 inches. Tied them together to make a 5 or 6 sided shape. Used big wire ties to tie pallets together. Nice looking oak compost bin. Will take pictures. More compost idea...

Change image from PDF to JPG.
Might be helpful if you tell us manufacturer, model or where did you buy this controller. Any instructions?

New forum looks GREAT from here. One observation. Not a problem. Just something I am curious about. Up in the top left corner of the screen I see (3) on every page. Re: Chickens

It depends on the personality of the chicken, but a surprising amount you can just set in your yard to weed for you, and they don't ever try to run away, and don't run into the street, and generally behave smarter than a small child would as staying safe and near the house. Parked big truck next to...

My wife talks to them and she says that they are angry about spending their life outside in freezing weather. Closed the vents in the coop. Door stays open all the time. Sauerkraut and spinac...

Went to the aquarium today and petted some stingrays who were hoping to eat some fish from me, lol. And saw a bunch of fishies. Anyway, cool. Went to the hotel, washed up (Wow, that bath water was pretty yellow, I'm guessing dirt buildup), took a swim and quickly realized the lap pool I intend on b...

Re: Buying forest land, implementing solar

Oh, thanks. Do traditional houses use trusses in the ceilings between floors? Most stick framed buildings use 2x6, 2x8, 2x10, or 2x12s for floor joists. Some newer buildings use wood I beams. Usually 16" apart. Sometimes 12", 24", or 19.2" Ever wonder what that diamond mark on the tape measure is? ...

Is trailer towed by a vehicle? If yes? That vehicle most likely has a alternator that generates electricity when vehicle is moving. Usually 12V DC. Use that to charge batteries.
