Re: TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Question for SW102 users: for SW102 initial flash, is sw102-full-0.19.11.hex still the one to use before upgrading to 20.1C over Bluetooth?

Re: TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C.

I have a motorcycle and a car. There is also a bike with a full suspension and a Bosch CX perfomance motor on which I try to train different tricks. And then there is a wife .. I want my wife to be able to ride with me and at the same time not constantly press any buttons and select some modes .. T...

I understand him in that way that he wishes a mode where there is only 1 assist level. He wants the whole band width of control with the low motor power support equal to assist mode 1 and high motor power support equal to assist lvl 5 - controlled by his legs only without buttons. Try E-MTB mode. I...

Re: How To, 50A BBSHD Controller Mod

So electrically it's like this? The full battery voltage goes to the display (brown) . The voltage for the Prozessor comes from the display (Pl-orange)??? But this normally couldn't be. Because if you aplicate the controller with the bafang tool, there is only the UART adapter (max. 5V) at the proc...

Are you considering moving to v20.1c? Would love a patched 850c binary for that if you do

Cheers
mbrusa already did an 850C version for v20.1C. I have tested it. It works great!

Re: TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C.

Wow, this looks great. The low cadence performance on my 860c setup is far from ideal. Can't wait for the weekend to give it a go. Anyone running it yet? What are your thoughts? Fantastic news! EMTB mode on Buba’s .20 was great. Almost like a torque start and then fade to power mode. Really miss it...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I am considering giving up on this project lately as it seems to be severely limited by the motor capability. For my applications, I find it underpowered, and too easy to overheat. Nearly every ride, I find myself wishing it was just a BBSHD. I really don't think it's worth the time or money to try...

I also noted the Eco-Bikes have lots of different cables (1T1, 1T2, etc https://www.eco-ebike.com/search?q=1T1). Would I need one of these cables to programme the 860C or the TSDZ2? If not, what are these cables for? 1T1 is if you only have a display. 1T2 adds throttle. 1T3 and 1T4 add one or two b...

The HEX file is for the TSDZ2 controller, only that has changed.
For LCD3, the buba 20 beta 1 version is still fine.
Ok, got it. Having LCD3 in the title of the hex file made us think it was for the KT-LCD3. We will try it in the motor today. Thanks!

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

@revher, I don't understand how the gear sensor can work with the speed sensor. The gear sensor simply closes an open circuit while the cable is moving. On a bafang this causes the motor to cut off for 800ms. If you hook it up to a brake sensor then it cuts the motor for closer to 2 seconds. The TSD...

I’d like to have a 750W, 48V mid-drive that will accommodate a rear coaster brake. I’ve seen someone state that one of the 36v versions Converted to 48v...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

What setup do you guys recommend for UPDATING both, the display and the controller? Following the WIKI, it's recommended to cut off the connector of the 850C, and hardwire it to an extension wire that fits to the TSDZ2's original plug hardness? So you need an extension wire and cut that to the corr...
