Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Anyone know if Bafang sprockets will work with this drive? Specifically, the Bafang Alloy that fits the BBSHD?

Re: I Need 8" BBSHD Throttle Extension Cables

Anytime a new item is hugely popular, they will be hard to get in the short term. Either wait, or get a 100W soldering iron and do the mod. Just my opinion... OK seems from everyone here the best way is to just get some wire and splice it. I've got a good soldering iron. So I Just need the 3 conduc...

I Need 8" BBSHD Throttle Extension Cables

I need three 8" BBSHD Throttle extension cables. Luna appears to be out of stock of the 8" Throttle Extension Cables, and I get no response from them via email as to if they plan on getting more in. https://lunacycle.com/bafang-throttle-extension-cable/ Is there any other supplier of these in the US...

Consumer Upgrades and Parts for Bosch mid-drive motors?

How consumer upgrade and repair friendly are the Bosch mid-drive motors? Can the consumer fix the motors themselves with parts that they can easily purchase from the bike shop? Is anyone making aftermarket parts or upgrade kits for the Bosch mid-drives. Is anyone doing modifications and upgrades on ...

I really like what you did here with this Sikk and the Cyclone 3000W. I do wish I could know how loud and what sort of sound a Cyclone build like this would create. Did you post a video of it running anywhere? Also, could you also have cut down the BB a bit? https://electricbike.com/forum/forum/buil...

MY GOALS: 1. Full suspension bike 2. No pedals 3. Top speed around 40-50kph ( 30mph ) When finished with your eMotorcycle please only ride it like the Motorcycle it will be, not a bike. Riding it fast in bike lanes or bike paths like legal bike or eBike will give eBikes a bad rep. But have fun ridi...

I would like to propose that BBSHD chainring owners post their BBSHD Chainring Inset in this thread. If you can post a picture that would be great also. I can't believe you would cut up a carbon frame or any frame like that. Those are structural components! A downtube is under high tension. Weakening it like that seems like a recipie for disaster. No one here is cutting a carbon downtube. My Bottom Bracket(BB) is aluminium. One poster above cut a c...

Re: What is best way to cut a BB down in size?

No but there's so much tolerance in the BBS if it looked like it lined up before then I wouldn't lose too much time planning to do it. I'd do it. Sam, it is obvious I like to be more positive of my calculations than you, before I cut into a $600 bike and risk not coming out perfectly. I don't have ...

Re: What is best way to cut a BB down in size?

You might consider building up the drive that you don't want (68mm) on a bike that already fits it, and then sell it. Then buy a drive that just slips in the frame you like. That being said... There is a tool called a facing tool. It not great for removing a lot of material, but if you hack off the...
