Re: Another Stealth bomber (clone) build

Hi Guys, I have given up on Sabvotons. I've bought 5 or 6 (yes I know) over the last few years. One is still running and one only lasted 8 miles  . So I bought the APT AE96600....over powered, a bit bulky but awesome. I've done a little over 2000 miles feeding it as low as 84v HOC @ 26ah 20c bu...

Hi Larsb, Connect to the controller, click on flux weakening, in box idref 6 enter about 50 in box idref 7 enter up to 80 press 'write' always make the value of idref 7 higher than idref 6 The 2 pdfs will give you something to do :D Jonno APT1001.A2.02E.V1.0 - User's Manual for DriveManager - Gu2015...

Wider handle bars would give you more stability and control.

Larsb
You're welcome....

It's not as difficult as it looks. You won't be using a lot of the connections as the controller also is designed for bigger applications such as cars, forklifts golf carts etc.

Re: Programming APT AE96600 controller

Hi Larsb
I've got one on my eeb frame with a 96v QS205 motor
It's easy to program and a really reliable controller.
Plug and play.
What do you need to know?

Re: Another Stealth bomber (clone) build

Hi shortcircuit911

Some wider handle bars would help higher speeds 780mm +.
Also altering the head angle on the forks by lowering the rear end gives much more stability at 60mph +

Hi guys, My EEB about 120lbs with a QS205 on a 19" rim + 5.6kgs of apt AE96600 controller and 100v @20.8ah. single speed as you can't keep up with it past about 17mph. Controlled via a CA V3. 3 position switch eco 100a, offroad 200a and mad 300a+. Weight is realistically not a factor on EEBs as you'...

Re: help sabvoton 72200 meltdown!

Hi I had this happen on one of my sabvoton 72200s. I traced the problem back to where the cable exits the motor and the brake disc had cut into it. The short to earth will only occur when the disc retaining bolts pass over the cable. There is very little gap for the cable to pass through hence the p...

Hmmmm.....you'e right there Dan, I may need a few more packs putting in parallel as the voltage sags somewhat after 50mph.

I'll see if I can get 12 more packs to fit giving 24s 6p or 100v @ 31.2ah

Hi,
Check your battery cut off voltage setting on the CA (It's the 2nd page in where you set the battery type/number of cells/cut off voltage

and set it to 55v

Re: Sabvoton SVMC settings for 80 amps max..

Hi, Tell me a bit more about your setup. Do you have the temp sensor working? Have you set up the 3 position switch on the CA V3? Which SVMC model do you have? Is the throttle wired through the CA V3? If so have you set the up and down throttle rate on the CA V3? Let me know as I have 3 SVMC72150 an...

Re: ENDUROEBIKE.COM

Hi Andy, Still sounds like a regulation problem to me In the Sabvoton software as that's what governs max amps/kws. I had lots of problems getting the software work properly with a 3 position switch so I now use the CA v3 to control the power parameters. I never had the problem using the original 5k...

Re: ENDUROEBIKE.COM

Hi Guys,
Might be as simple as this:

Check your gain settings on the CA for amps and KW with the switch in position 3. They want to be set at 999. If they're set too low you will get the jerking as the CA is trying to limit the output.

Hope this helps
