Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Just do it Larsb, the 24f is on another level compared to the AE96600.
I've already ordered a 2nd one for my next project. :D

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Would the 24F allow getting the maximum power out of the QS 273 v3 rated at 4000W, not sure if that means anything real though. My goal is not high speed, 25km/hr tops is fine, but maximum torque at low speeds pushing 200+ kg up long steep mountain roads. I've got one and the combination is awesome...

Re: Mxus 3k vs Qs205

Assuming that you have enough battery amps to feed the controller your best bet would be to get a QS205 v3 3.5T. Acceleration is fantastic with lots of amps. I've used up to 325a in bursts on mine, it will get hot if you rag the nuts off it though. The mx is a weak by comparison (I've burnt 2 out). ...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

If you want a temporary MPH fix just change your wheel circumference x 5/8.
ie: 2040mm x 5 /8 = 1275mm

Ready for test tomorrow - weather and test pilot permitting

Re: DIY battery BMS issues

Unplug the connector and using a multimeter put neg probe on black wire of plug and use the pos probe on each of the white leads. as you move across the white pins towards the red lead the volts should add 4.2v to the total on the meter (total 36v. black and red) If it doesn't then you have a wiring...

Re: Building an EEB with a QS 205... Help needed

IMHO
Sabvotons are ok as long as you don't push their limits
APT AE96600 excellent but size and weight are an issue
Mobipus - don't bother

So.....
I've ordered a 24f for my eeb QS205. Looking forward to August delivery so I'll let you know.

Re: CHIME IN: NEED SUGGESTIONS TO AVOID MELTDOWN!!!

Have you positioned the wheel in the middle of the swing arm? I found that I needed 3 U shaped spacers/washers inserted between the arm and the cable otherwise you will have trouble with your caliper. This will also allow more clearance for the cable. Also exit your cable to the rear and bring it ba...

Re: Building an EEB with a QS 205... Help needed

I'd go along with that Rockstar195.
EM3EV are the people to go to. My frame has done 6 -8000 miles on/off road and has been 100% reliable.
I've massively overpowered it at times and it's held up well.

Cycle analyst v3 3.13x1G GPS

Thought I would flash the 3.13x1g GPS firmware onto my CA V3 today as I have a 0183 NMEA receiver in the parts bin.

Has anyone tried this with any success.

Any help would be appreciated.
