The version no is shown as 10 and there have been accidental mismatches in the past but I’m pretty certain this is the real deal.

Rave Review No 1

In social distancing mode because COVID, I did today alone with my son, 45kms running latest firmware 860C_850C_SW102_v0.7.0 -- two different bicycles, one with 860C display and other with 850C display. I trust enough on this version that I did install it on the bicycle of my son: 850C Occasionally...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Does anyone know if it is possible to display imperial units for distance (miles, MPH etc) whilst also displaying temperature in degrees C. These are the preferred units here in UK. I cant get my head around the Fahrenheit scale any more. Thanks Yes. Go back to using a KT LCD3 where the temperature...

Just wondering if any of you had this issue so far ?
I’ve had this almost with every motor and it’s always been the pedals. Repeated poking grease into the bearings can sometimes cure it.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

So I have had yet another motor fail on me, this time I was able to diagnose the problem. It's the controller. I connected the motor unit to another controller and it worked fine. I just need to switch the controllers. I understand you have to remove the cover on the drive side and then 2 screws. T...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only) for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Casainho, we are having real problems with water/mud conditions and the units failing. snip Many thanks Wayne. Wayne 2 weeks ago a 48v 750watt 6 pin motor on a 29er just stopped. No noise, nothing. Stopped for a coffee, wouldn’t power up. I narrowed the fault to the controller, so replaced it. The ...

Re: Bafang 850C color LCD -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

Despite using my fingers to maintain electrical contact whilst programming the LCD3 display I can’t recall ever having odd results, at least not like with the 850C. Is the boot loader reliable? My hardware is hard-wired unlike the LCD3. I’ve reloaded v0.5.0-beta.3 which was jumping all over the plac...

Loaded 850C_v0.5.0-beta.5. Imperial setting still not working. Even though main screen says MPH, the speed and trip reading are both in KM/H.
Trip is definitely mph on mine and I’ll be right disappointed if speed isn’t mph as well!

I needed a female to female 5 pin splice and just snipped a pair of Julei connectors and spliced the female ends. All seemed well until a P850 display was connected through the splice and nothing happened. The P850 was damaged, inoperable. Turned out that the Julei connectors came from two different...

Do you configure the ST-link programme with STM8S105x6? And when you do does the little led on the USB link flash blue or red? (clutching at straws ... ) Aqua’s suggestion is worth following. With 2 of these links I have each wired for the lcd and the other the motor. I was lucky, both worked.

1, 2 and 3 are all due to the same problem: the gap between the speed sensor and the wheel magnet is too close. Re: Help with TSDZ2 programming

RST should not be connected when flashing the motor and only connect Vcc (brown wire) if your bike’s battery is disconnected. Thus at most 3 wires to connect. Very frustrating this job if you don’t do this sort of thing day in, day out. Just slow down and take care!

I’ve used a grinding stone attached to my drill and gently ground away whatever is blocking you getting the shaft through. Use a stone that is the biggest diameter you can find.

Some BB’s can be quite severely distorted and still work perfectly.

Or is there something else to define "new version" of the motor? Regarding noise: The power applied by the ol...
