Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

Thanks !

I'll give it a try.

There are quite a lot of new parameters with the last firmware, compared to the version that I used.

For example, in "status flags", what does "over field weakening" do ?

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

Things i've done for fast throttle response: Running torque mode In control modes acceleration limit set to 0 Shortened my throttle so max volt on WOT is only 2.8 not 4.4v and made auto throttle calibration for this voltage. And adjusted PID. FOC Ki to 120. How exactly did lukashanak "shorten" his ...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Hi guys I'd like to send more juice to my rear qs273 "4000" when I start and at low speed. Bigger kick, in other words. There's a kind of software based, progressive acceleration that I'd like to turn into brutal I have a consistant margin concerning sag and motor + 12F temp, there's some watts left...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

One year and a half with no issue

With 2 x 12F there's torque for sure. Waiting for the 24F on rear wheel to carry... maybe a mobilhome ?!!

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Soon I'll check what happens with 24 F qs273 4000 on the rear and an mxus v3 on the front. Batteries (20s 36p, panasonic pf) might become the limit, taking the hypothesis of tires still able to grip when I'll wot (in fact I see in advance that it's gonna be quite funky)

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Or go for vasiliy's super tiny waterproof connector. Surprisingly, it's stronger than the "adapttoish" one that Merlin shows above. I can't count the number of times when I had to resolder the adaptto connectors just because the wires arent just locked. Vibrations + manipulations was too much for th...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Almost a year now with the 2wd setup. Both controllers simply inside of the rear (closed, but made of aluminium) battery box with a 120mm 12v fan on top of them and "voilà" : no potting needed here About to start a 600km trip in the french mountains, with girlfriend driving, me on the rear battery b...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]

Who is already running this controller with hub(s)? Can you compare it's performance with know controllers like sabvoton 72150 72100 7280, max, and kelly 7230, Kelly mini, or other controllers. I do. Six months now. It's a really good controller. Much more simple than Adaptto (my only reference) an...

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

Hi Vasiliy A question about improving 2wd mode Until now I can't "WOT" without seeing the front wheel overspinning. The rear wheel pushes hard enough to lift the front, front tire loses grip and suddenly spins way faster than the rear, which is quite dangerous. Is there a way to have both wheels spi...

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

Do you get this range with your wife on board or alone ? Two days ago, coming back from Paris to home, I had the opportunity to drive 60km with wife onboard, slightly uphill (+300m) and a sustained 50kmh wind coming from the front. Started with 82.5v and arrived with 73v (panasonic 18650 pf 20s 28p...

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

After a few weeks of trials and contrarily to what I said above (I had the phenomenon mixed with a bms bad tuning), fine balancing the cells at the end of the charge requires to reduce the charge current manually, from the "converter" menu. For me doing steps like 24 a 12a 6a 3a 1a will give a perfe...
