Add Potentiometer to Change Charger Volts

Hi, Just got this little charger that I need to bring the voltage down, It's giving out 86v and I need it at 80v, so I am thinking of a potentiometer resistor? just where to put it? (no pun) Added some picters with google share, hope it works... https://photos.app.goo.gl/VhQ8txW6YWKAx7eC8

Re: QS Motor axle

I have used zip ties, the big 10mm wide and the small 2-3mm one's work together best. But I have just used wire spring, wire protectors, Look for "Door Loop Cable Spring Protectors" or "Wire Spring Guard" on ebay, etc, I would use Stainless Steel if you want them to last, but Galvanised may work and...

Unlocking or Hacking Sabvoton SVMC72200 Controller

I'm looking for a way of unlocking or hacking a Sabvoton Controller SVMC72200... and has anyone done a shunt mode on the 72150 or 72200? The 72200 is a bigger controller than the 72150 which unlocks to 200amps, so you would think you could do the same on the bigger 72200? but I can't find out how......

Re: Largest capacity for battery packs??

I know the vector can do 8KWH as it can fit 620x3500mah lithium 18650 cells! there are posts on here somewhere showing it.

Ps I'm just about to build a 24s 25p pack for my Vector, can't make my mind up on the cell type yet... :?:

I would add all the extras (if they are going together) in your sales pitch, no one could tell :) then have a little rethink of price and you will sell it! Good luck!

Re: Controller To Fit My Needs

Thanks markz. Really like the ASI was thinking of getting they BAC2000 but I see they mix the amps/phase around, so would need a bigger one so they work out much too expensive for me. There are lots of good used Sevcon controller for sale here, but it's like you said programming them.. I will take a...

Re: Help me reinforce this DC to DC step up.

Like said above power up first to the correct voltage before connecting the battery or it will blow, unlike the BST900w that you don't need too, and treat the trim pots easy as I have had 3 fail on me turning them to much.

Re: The poor mans cycle satiator

It basically what I'm using, but I use 2 48v PSU's with 2 900w dc-dc's, and them 900w dc-dc go upto 110v 15a, it would be cool if Justin brought out a higher voltage Satiator i would get one 60v 8a is so low.

Looking real good! you could add hot glue and/or tight wrap them to give more support if you think they need it, did you use heat wrap over your batteries?

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

Hi, can anyone tell me the rear brake line length for the Vector please? and what weight have your own builds ended up weighing with what battery? I'm most likely going to end up with a 24s x 20s 18650's battery so 480 cells, so the battery will be about 22kg's not light :(
