Re: Battery Bloc Battery up to 72v - $400

Yes, I originally intended it to be 72v for the Tangent Ascent using the Phaserunner. Then I bought a 52v controller and reconfigured it....then sold it all. Needed the money - going through the big D.

Re: Battery Bloc Battery up to 72v - $400

Hi Kin,

I am not exactly sure. I bought this and configured it according to Battery Blocs calculator which is where I go the specs.

SOLD - Battery Bloc Battery up to 72v - $400

Built this battery from Battery Block. Panasonic/Sanyo NCR 18650GA batteries. Currently configured for 52v systems, but it can be rebuilt for 72v easily. I have never used it for anything other than bench testing a Tangent Ascent.

I have it mapped for 52v, but it comes with cable to push it back to 72v. I've used it twice.

Astro Flight 3215 with temp sensor, Castle Creations Talon 120 ECU, Cycle Analyst, and Domino Throttle. I put this up for sale when I was going to run a Phaserunner controller, but then kept it and bought a Castle Creation Talon 120. I still need to sale it for the same reason I had last time - divo...

Re: Dave's 80:1 RC mid drive kit build log

...is that the long version? It is. I ordered it from an online vendor in the UK. The mounting brackets do no interfere at all with the concentric bottom bracket - I was worried that it would. I haven't weighed it yet, but it feels just slighly heavier than my old full suss mtb even with the steel ...

^Agreed!

Not the best pic, but I finally got it mounted. I just finished building my battery so once I get the rest set up I will be providing a better update. In the mean time here is a pretty terrible picture of it mounted.

Re: Dave's 80:1 RC mid drive kit build log

So, from the pictures it looks as if you can add halls sensors to the Astro Motors? I think I remember reading something that said the Astro Motors used to be made with them already installed? I ask bc I'm wondering if adding them would help with the start up torque issue the Phaserunner has with th...

Re: Dave's 80:1 RC mid drive kit build log

One thought on the FW/Crankset/BB dilemma. I have run White Industries on all my previous bicycles as much as I could because they make great stuff and look good doing it. I was surprised to see them in the ebike scene when I first jumped in, but I am glad they're here. So with that said, what about...
